Abstract
Persediaan bahan baku merupakan faktor utama dalam proses produksi sehingga perusahaan dituntut untuk melakukan perencanaan persediaan dengan baik dan tepat. Bahan baku merupakan masalah yang sangat penting dan perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena hal ini dapat menjamin kelancaran jalannya proses produksi. Kekurangan dan kelebihan bahan baku berpotensi merugikan perusahaan. Mie Lethek Cap Garuda adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak diindustri pangan. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah mie yang dikenal dengan namanya yaitu mie lethek. Produk tersebut dipasarkan didalam kota maupun luar kota Yogyakarta. Perencanaan persediaan yang dilakukan perusahaan kadang kala tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan produksi. Akibatnya terjadi kekurangan persediaan untuk kebutuhan produksi. Perencanaan persediaan bahan baku memiliki peranan penting dalam menunjang kelancaran jalannya proses produksi. Sehingga tujuan yang ingin dilakukan yaitu merencanakan kebutuhan bahan baku agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan produksi secara optimal dengan biaya persediaan yang minimum. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan perencanaan persediaan bahan baku yaitu menggunakan sistem Material Riquirement Planning (MRP) dengan metode Lot Sizing. Jumlah pemesanan yang optimal pada bulan Juni 2014 - Mei 2015 untuk kedua jenis bahan baku dengan menggunakan metode Silver Meal adalah 189.684 kilogram tepung tapioka dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 12 kali dengan biaya total persediaan Rp. 1.101.461.280,00. Dan 126.456 kilogram tepung gaplek dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 12 kali dengan biaya total persediaan Rp. 583.810.800,00. Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Persediaan Bahan Baku , Material Requirement Planning (MRP) , Lot Sizing. Inventories of raw materials is a major factor in the production process so that the company is required to perform inventory planning with good and proper. The raw material is a very important issue and needs special attention because it can ensure smooth production process. Deficiency and excess raw materials potentially harm the company. Mie Lethek Cap Garuda is a company engaged diindustri food. The resulting product is known by the name of noodles are noodles lethek. The product is marketed in the city or outside the city of Yogyakarta. Inventory planning by the company sometimes can not meet the needs of production. As a result there is a shortage of supplies for production needs. Raw material inventory planning has an important role in the smooth production process. So aim to do is to plan the raw material needs in order to meet the needs of optimal production with minimum inventory costs. One method that can be used to solve the problem of raw material inventory planning is using the system Riquirement Material Planning (MRP) by the method of Lot Sizing. Optimal number of bookings in June 2014 - May 2015 for both types of raw materials by using Silver Meal is 189 684 kg of starch with a frequency of 12 times the reservation total inventory cost Rp. 1,101,461,280.00. And 126 456 kilograms of cassava flour with a frequency of 12 times the reservation total inventory cost Rp. 583,810,800.00.
