Abstract
The studied area included in part of North East Java Basin, administratively located in Blora Regency, Jawa Tengah Province, located at 542500 - 549500 and
9234500 - 9241000 coordinate based on UTM, scale 1:25.000 with wide 6,5x7 km.
The thesis emphasizes the effort to understanding geological aspect, depositional
environment analysis of Ngrayong sandstone unit, is the object which become the
main concern of it. Geomorphology studied area is divided into two units formed the origin, the
structural basic form which is subdivided into: homocline ridges / kuesta (S1),anticline ridges (S2), and homocline plain (S3). The fluvial basic form which is
subdivided into alluvial plain (F1).
The stratigraphy studied area consist of six rock unit, from oldest to youngestrespectively are satuan batulempung Tawun N8-N9 (Early Miocen-Middle Miocen),
satuan batupasir Ngrayong N10-N12 (Middle Miocen), satuan batugamping Bulu N13 (Middle Miocen), satuan batupasir-gampingan Ledok N17 (Late Miocen), satuan
napal-lempungan Mundu N18-N19 (Late Miocen-Early Pliocen) and satuan endapan Alluvial (Holocene-Recent). Geological structures that develop in research area are
faults and fold. Fault analysis on stereonet in this research area are Ngampel fault
(normal left slip fault) and Nglangitan fault (trust right slip fault). Fold analysis on
stereonet in this research area that is Ngampel anticline (steeply inclined horizontal fold).
Profil analysis and litofacies interpretation from Ngrayong sandstone unit, showed an association litofasies mud flat, mixed flat, sand flat and subtidal flat
environment, it is interpreted that the depositional environment of Ngrayong sandstone unit is Tidal Flat.

Daerah penelitian termasuk ke dalam Zona Rembang, Cekungan Jawa Timur Utara. Secara administratif terletak di Kabupaten Blora Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Secara
geografis terletak pada koordinat 542500 - 549500 dan 9234500 - 9241000 UTM dengan skala peta 1: 25.000 serta luas daerah 6,5x7 km2 Aspek geologi, analisis
lingkungan pengendapan satuan batupasir Ngrayong yang akan menjadi bahan penelitian dalam skripsi ini.
Geomorfologi daerah telitian dibagi menjadi dua satuan bentukasal yaitu: bentukasal struktural dengan bentuklahan perbukitan homoklin / kuesta (S1),bentuklahan perbukitan antiklin (S2), bentuklahan dataran homoklin (S3). Satuan
bentukasal fluvial dengan bentuklahan dataran aluvial (F1).
Stratigrafi daerah telitian terdiri dari enam satuan batuan, dari tua ke muda adalah satuan batulempung Tawun berumur Miosen Awal-Miosen Tengah (N8-N9),
satuan batupasir Ngrayong berumur Miosen Tengah (N10-N12), satuan batugamping Bulu berumur Miosen Tengah (N13), satuan batupasir-gampingan Ledok berumur
Miosen Akhir (N17), satuan napal-lempungan Mundu berumur Miosen Akhir –Pliosen Awal (N18-N19), dan satuan endapan alluvial berumur Holosen-Resen.
Struktur geologi yang berkembang pada daerah telitian berupa sesar dan lipatan. Pada analisa sesar didapatkan dua jenis sesar yaitu Sesar Ngampel (normal left slip
fault) dan Sesar Nglangitan (trust right slip fault). Pada analisa lipatan didapatkan jenis lipatan yaitu Antiklin Ngampel (steeply inclined horizontal fold).
Analisis profil dan interpretasi litofasies pada satuan batupasir Ngrayong yang menunjukkan asosiasi litofasies lingkungan mud flat, mixed flat, sand flat dan
subtidal flat. Interpretasi dari asosiasi pada daerah telitian menunjukkan lingkungan pengendapan satuan batupasir Ngrayong adalah tidal flat.
