Abstract
Gunung Santri landfill is a facility that used as a hoard and process waste in Cirebon Regency. Management of adverse conditions in the depth of groundwater around the landfill that has a depth of less than 3 meters, therefore it is necessary to find a use that is consistent with the carrying capacity, the use of which appropriate. Reffering SNI 03-3241-1994 in determining the location of the landfill to determine the criteria between the feasible or does not like Gunung Santri landfill. Research conducted at the Gunung Santri landfill, Kepuh, District Palimanan, Cirebon Regency has a purpose: (1) Evaluate the feasibility Gunung Santri landfill based physical aspect (regional criteria) (2) Develop management directives in accordance with Gunung Santri landfill. The method used in this research is the method of mapping, surveying, measurement, assessment, and scoring accordance with SNI 03-3241-1994. Parameters were assessed to determine the feasibility of Gunung Santri landfill Regional criteria (slope, geological conditions, the distance to the source of drinking water, the depth of the water level and protected forest areas). The study concluded that the Gunung Santri landfill included in the criteria is not feasible based on regional criteria, because the condition of the depth of the ground water level is less than 3 meters. Determination of the criteria based on views of regional criteria SNI 03-3241-1994. Based on these result, it is suggested referral management is planning of closure of the landfill and manufacture of a new landfill in the new location in accordance with SNI 03-3241-1994.
