Metodologi meliputi akuisisi data lapangan (foto, model digital outcrop, profil,
menjanjikan. Nilai porositas efektif berkisar antara 10,2501% hingga 24,9082%
(kategori cukup hingga sangat baik), sedangkan porositas total (analisis blue dyed)
antara 10,18% hingga 31,75% (kategori cukup hingga sangat baik). Nilai

Deep-sea reservoirs are significant hydrocarbon exploration targets, particularly
volcaniclastic turbidite deposits, which are a focus of this research. This outcrop
analog study of the Semilir Formation serves as an initial step in exploration,
providing guidance to reduce subsurface data uncertainties. The methodology
involved field data acquisition (photos, digital outcrop models, profiles, measuring
sections) and laboratory analysis of rock samples (microfossils, petrography,
calcimetry, and reservoir properties). Stratigraphic observations at the study area
were conducted at 5 observation points, with a total thickness of 131.088 meters,
composed of the Semilir Tuffaceous Sandstone unit. Lithological variations include
interbedded tuffaceous sandstone and siltstone, pebbly sandstone, tuffaceous
sandstone, and pumice breccia. The main identified facies are Classical Turbidite
(67%, 87.6921 meters), followed by Conglomerate (14%, 18.621 meters), Pebbly
Sandstone (13%, 16.367 meters), and Massive Sandstone (6%, 8.4073 meters).
Based on their facies associations, the tuffaceous sandstone unit within the Semilir
Formation was deposited in a deep-sea environment, specifically the upper fan to
middle fan (smooth portion of suprafan lobes), at lower bathyal depths during the
Early to Middle Miocene (N7-N10). Analysis of reservoir properties indicates that
the Semilir Formation has promising potential. Effective porosity values range from
10.2501% to 24.9082% (fair to excellent category), while total porosity (blue-dyed
analysis) ranges from 10.18% to 31.75% (fair to excellent category). Permeability
values range from 5.97481 mD to 807.589 mD (fair to excellent category). Facies
with good reservoir properties are found in the Conglomerate facies, deposited in
the upper fan, and the Pebbly Sandstone and Massive Sandstone facies, deposited
in the channeled portion of suprafan lobes in the middle fan. In addition to syn
depositional factors, dissolution and fracturing also contribute to the favorable
reservoir properties. The Semilir Formation in Ngoro-Oro has potential as a
reservoir rock based on its tuffaceous sandstone lithofacies and supporting physical
properties. This analog study can serve as a reference for geological and reservoir
modeling in similar volcaniclastic basins.
