Abstract

Assessment of the resources obtained through the calculation and analysis of exploration data has been obtained in the form of data drilling, strike, dip and thickness of coal. Resource assessment conducted in order to determine the estimated tonnage of coal resources. Location mapping concession located in thearea. Satria Agung Putra area of 16 ha, located in the village Sulangkit, Pamukan District of South and North Kelumpang subdistrict, district Kotabaru, SouthKalimantan Province. The aim of this study is to determine the classification of coal resources inthe study area and calculate the amount of coal resources using methods crosssection with guidelines Rule of Gradual Change and the Rule of Nearest Point. The method used in this research is by observation in the field, while the resourceestimation method used Cross Section method by comparing the guidelines Rule of Gradual Change the Rule of Nearest Point. The formula used is the formula frustrum (truncated cone) and the formulaMean Area (area average). The research results are expected to be able to determine the volume and tonnageof coal resources. The conclusion reached by using the method of cross section with the Directive Rule of Gradual Changes, done by connecting a cross-sectional one withthe other, in order to obtain a volume of 70009.9 m³ and tonnage of coalamounted to 91013. 1 tons. Methods Cross Section with the Directive Rule of Nearest Point, conducted with a cross-border demarcation by way of half the distance betweenthe cross section, in order to obtain a volume of 69916.4 m³ and tonnage of coal
