ABSTRAK
Cekungan Kutai merupakan salah satu cekungan sedimen di Indonesia
yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi sebagai penghasil hidrokarbon.
Cekungan Kutai terdiri dari beberapa formasi, contohnya Formasi
Balikpapan – Kampung Baru yang memiliki potensi batuan reservoir dengan
kualitas baik. Oleh karena itu analisa bawah permukaan sangat perlu
dilakukan untuk meningkatkan cadangan minyak dan gas bumi dengan
melakukan pemodelan reservoir sehingga dapat mengetahui potensi
hidrokarbon yang terkandung didalamnya.
Dalam penelitian ini, terdapat tiga metode yang digunakan. Secara garis
besar metode tersebut tersebut antara lain analisis sumuran kualitatif
menggunakan data mudlog dan wireline log, kemudian analisis integrasi data
sumur , serta melakukan pemodelan statik yang mengkombinasikan tahapan-
tahapan sebelumnya.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis wirelline log, mudlog dan data seismik,
diketahui bahwa pada Lapangan MV” terdapat litologi berupa batupasir,
batulempung, batugamping dan batubara. Fasies yang berkembang pada
Lapangan “MV” antara lain interdistributary bay, distributary channel ,
marsh, distributary mouthbar, intertidal mudflat dan crevasse splay.
Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa lapangan ini berada pada
lingkungan pengendapan lower delta plain – delta front. Selanjutnya
dilakukan pemodelan fasies pada lapisan A yang merupakan lapisan batupasir
dengan potensi gas paling besar (Top U95 – FS95.05). Terdapat dua sesar
mayor dan sekitar tiga puluh sesar minor di daerah penelitian.
Pemodelan struktur menggunakan metode Volume Based Model.
Pemodelan fasies menggunakan metode stokastik object model dengan arah
pengendapan NW-SE dan pemodelan petrofisika dengan metode Sequential
Gaussian Simulation (SGS). Dengan nilai cadangan sebesar volume bulk
sebesar 62,2 x 106 m3. Hydrocarbon pore volume gas (HCPV) gas sebesar
9,38 x106 SCF, dan GIIP sebesar 44,34 x106 MSCF.

ABSTRACT
The Kutai Basin is one of the sediment basins in Indonesia that has high
economic value as a hydrocarbon producer. The Kutai Basin consists of several
formations, for example the Balikpapan – Kampung Baru Formation which has the
potential for good quality reservoir rocks. Therefore, subsurface analysis is very
necessary to increase oil and gas reserves by modeling reservoirs so that the
potential of hydrocarbons contained in them can be determined.
In this study, there are three methods used.The methods include qualitative
well analysis using mudlog data and wireline logs, then well data integration
analysis, and static modeling that combines the previous stages.
Based on the results of wirelline log analysis, mudlog and seismic data, it is
known that in the MV Field there are lithologies in the form of sandstone, claystone,
limestone and coal. The facilities that developed in the "MV" Field include
interdistributary bay, distributary channel, marsh, distributary mouthbar, intertidal
mudflat and crevasse splay. Based on these data, it can be concluded that this field
is in a lower delta plain – delta front settling environment. Furthermore, facies
modeling was carried out on layer A, which is a sandstone layer with the greatest
gas potential (Top U95 – FS95.05). There are two major faults and about thirty
minor faults in the study area.
Structural modeling uses the Volume Based Model method. Facies modeling
uses the stochastic method of object model with the direction of precipitation NW-
SE and petrophysical modeling using the Sequential Gaussian Simulation (SGS)
method. With a reserve value of bulk volume of 62.2 x 106 m3. Hydrocarbon pore
gas volume (HCPV) gas is 9.38 x106 SCF, and GIIP is 44.34 x106 MSCF
