KECAMATAN PRACIMANTORO, KABUPATEN WONOGIRI

INTISARI
Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Pracimantoro, Kecamatan Pracimantoro,
Kabupaten Wonogiri, masyarakat memanfaatkan air dari mata air untuk melakukan
aktivitas kebutuhan sehari – hari seperti mencuci piring, mandi, dan lain – lain. Mata
air di Desa Pracimantoro memiliki permasalahan seperti penurunan debit mata air
yang saat kemarau serta menurunnya kualitas air yang ditandai mata air keruh pada
saat musim hujan, dan belum adanya pengelolaan yang baik pada mata air. Tujuan
penelitian yaitu mengetahui karakteristik mata air di daerah penelitian dan
mengetahui keefektivitasan pengolahan air dengan unit filtrasi.
Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi dari kuantitatif dan
kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data (survey pemetaan, pengukuran, dan uji
laboratorium), metode sampling (purposive sampling), dan metode analisis
(volumentrik dan evaluasi). Penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik mata air berupa sifat
pengaliran, jenis mata air, dan debit. Kualitas mata air yang di uji, yaitu parameter
fisika (Warna, Bau, Suhu, Kekeruhan, dan TDS), parameter kimia (pH dan Fe), dan
parameter biologi (Total Coliform). Rancangan percobaan yang dilakukan
menggunakan filtrasi dengan waktu detensi 30, 60,90, dan 120 menit untuk
menurunkan parameter yang melebihi baku mutu.
Hasil penelitian karakteristik mata air berdasarkan tipe mata air termasuk
mata air kontak (contact springs). Berdasarkan sifat pengalirannya, yaitu mata air
tahunan (perennial springs). Karakteristik berdasarkan debit mata air, yaitu termasuk
kedalam kelas VI dengan debit mata air 0,3902 L/detik. Karakteristik berdasarkan
kualitas terdapat parameter yang melebihi bakumutu, yaitu TDS, kekeruhan, dan
total coliform. Keefektivitasan dengan rancangan percobaan filtrasi, untuk parameter
TDS efektif dengan waktu detensi 120 menit, untuk parameter kekeruhan yaitu
waktu detensi 120 menit, parameter total coliform efektif dengan waktu detensi 30
menit, 60 menit, 90 menit, dan 120 menit. Rancangan pengelolaan dengan
dilakukannya pembuatan unit filtrasi dengan metode downflow. Sedangkan secara
non-teknis, dilakukan dengan pendekatan terhadap masyarakat dengan membuat bak
penampung akhir yang ditutup dan instansi terkait.

WATER QUALITY TREATMENT TECHNIQUES IN NGULU KIDUL SPRING
AS A DOMESTIC WATER SOURCE IN PRACIMANTORO VILLAGE,
PRACIMANTORO SUB-DISTRICT, WONOGIRI DISTRICT

ABSTRACT
The research was conducted in Pracimantoro Village, Pracimantoro
Subdistrict, Wonogiri Regency, where the community utilizes water from springs for
daily activities such as washing dishes, bathing, and others. Springs in Pracimantoro
Village have problems such as decreasing quantity during the dry season, decreasing
quality during the rainy season, and no good management of springs. The objectives
of the study were to determine the characteristics of spring water in the study area
and to determine the effectiveness of water treatment with filtration units.
The methods used were a combination of quantitative and qualitative
methods, data collection methods (mapping surveys, measurements, and laboratory
tests), sampling methods (purposive sampling), and analysis methods (volumetric
and evaluation). This study examined spring characteristics in the form of flow
characteristics, spring type, and discharge. The spring water quality tested included
physical parameters (Color, Odor, Temperature, Turbidity, and TDS), chemical
parameters (Ph and Fe), and biological parameters (Total Coliform). The
experimental design used filtration with detention times of 30, 60, 90 and 120
minutes to reduce parameters that exceeded quality standards.
The results of the research on spring characteristics based on spring type
include contact springs. Based on the nature of the flow, they are perennial springs.
Characteristics based on spring discharge, which is included in class VI with a
spring discharge of 0.3902 L/sec. Characterized by quality, there are parameters
that exceed the standard, namely TDS, turbidity, and total coliform. Effectiveness
with the filtration experiment design, for the TDS parameter is effective with a
detention time of 120 minutes, for the turbidity parameter is a detention time of 30
minutes, the total coliform parameter is effective with detention times of 30 minutes,
60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes. The management design is carried out by
making a filtration unit with the downflow method.While non-technically, it is
carried out by approaching the community by creating a closed final catchment
basin and related agencies.
