Abstract
Pengaruh Komposisi Media Tanam dan Aplikasi PGPR terhadap
Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Okra

ABSTRAK
Pemanfaatan limbah baglog dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam alternatif dalam
budidaya tanaman okra. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan komposisi media
tanam dan konsentrasi PGPR terbaik paling tepat bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil
tanaman okra. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2019 di
Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta di Desa
Wedomartani, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi Daerah
Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dengan faktorial disusun dalam
Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL), terdiri atas dua faktor dengan tiga
ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam yang terdiri atas tiga aras,
yaitu Pupuk kompos daun:tanah = 1:1, Pupuk kompos daun:tanah:limbah baglog =
1:1:1, dan Pupuk kompos daun:tanah:limbah baglog = 1:1:2. Faktor kedua adalah
konsentrasi PGPR terdiri atas empat aras, yaitu : 0 ml/l, 15 ml/l, 30 ml/l, dan 45
ml/l. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada interaksi antara media tanam dan
aplikasi PGPR. Media tanam tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra. PGPR konsentrasi 45 ml/l memberikan hasil
paling baik pada tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun tanaman okra.

The Effect Of Planting Media Planting Media and PGPR Application On
The Growth and Yield Of Okra Plants

ABSTRACT
Baglog mushroom waste can be used as an alternative planting media in okra
cultivation. The purpose of this research was to determine the best composition of
planting media and PGPR concentration for the growth and yield of okra. The
reaserch was conducted in October until December 2019 on Experimental Garden
Wedomartani Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran”
Yogyakarta. The reaserch used a Randomized Complete Block Design with two
factors and three replications. The first factors was the composition of planting
media that consists of 3 levels, leaf compost fertilizer:soil = 1:1, leaf compost
fertilizer:soil:baglog waste = 1:1:1, and leaf compost ferilizer:soil:baglog waste =
1:1:2. The second factor was PGPR application consists of 4 levels concentration,
0 ml/l, 15 ml/l, 30 ml/l and 45 ml/l. The results of the reaserch showed that there
were no interaction between PGPR application and growing media. The planting
media did not different significanty on the growth and crop yield. PGPR treatment
with 45 ml/l consentration gave the best results of plant growth on the plant height
and number of leaves.
