Abstract
Joint Business Group "Mekar Sari" is
a small business located in the village Sangubanyu, Purworejo, Central Java.
Members of this group consists of a few housewives who are trying to earn their
own income through embroidery business. This effort has been running for nearly
25 years, but to date has not shown significant improvement. That is because the
various problems they face, such as: lack of capital, modern marketing, as well as
the regeneration of the main usaha.Tujuan of programs that run in the science
and technology activities for this community is to assist them in overcoming the
problems they face. In terms of capital, they helped to make a proposal for capital
assistance, while to overcome the problem of lack of raw materials caused by the
lack of capital, then formed a kind of co-operatives, as well as the recruitment of
new members was held to address the problem of regeneration. In terms of
marketing, it has dibebuat online store with www.bordirmekarsari.com name,
and also to register their products to obtain Trademarks are very important in
order to improve their marketing.
Abstrak: IbM Kelompok Usaha Bersama “Mekar Sari”. Kelompok Usaha
Bersama “ Mekar Sari “ adalah sebuah usaha kecil yang terletak di Desa
Sangubanyu, Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah. Anggota kelompok ini terdiri
dari beberapa ibu rumah tangga yang berusaha untuk mendapatkan penghasilan
sendiri melalui usaha kerajinan bordir. Usaha ini telah berjalan selama hampir 25
tahun, namun sampai saat ini belum menunjukkan kemajuan yang cukup berarti.
Hal tersebut dikarenakan berbagai permasalahan yang mereka hadapi, seperti :
kurangnya modal, pemasaran yang modern, serta regenerasi usaha.Tujuan utama
dari program program yang dijalankan dalam kegiatan Iptek bagi Masyarakat ini
adalah untuk membantu mereka dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang mereka
hadapi. Dalam hal permodalan, mereka dibantu untuk dapat membuat proposal
permohonan bantuan permodalan, sementara untuk mengatasi masalah kurangnya
bahan baku yang disebabkan oleh minimnya modal, maka dibentuklah semacam
koperasi, serta diadakan perekrutan anggota baru untuk mengatasi masalah
regenerasi. Dalam hal pemasaran, maka telah dibebuat took online dengan nama
www.bordirmekarsari.com, dan juga dengan mendaftarkan produk mereka untuk
memperoleh Merk Dagang yang sangat penting guna meningkatkan pemasaran
mereka.
