Abstract

CVPD (Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration) is the one of disease that affect from
bacterium which can be transmitted from diseased plants to healthy plants through
the insect vector Diaphorina citri. This study aims to examine the effect of various
concentration of Artemisia Extract, Neem Seed oil, and horticultural Mineral Oil.
The research method used a non-choice test method, choice test, persistence test,
and treatment effect test. This research method used a Randomized Complete Block
Design non factorial and the data obtained was analyzed with analysis of variance
(ANOVA), followed by testing using Duncan multiple range test with a significant
level 0.5%. The research result showed that Horticultural Mineral Oil have best
ability for repellent. The persistence test from day 1 to day 28 showed that the
ability of treatment from Artemisia vulgaris 2%, Horticultural mineral oil 0.5%, and
Neem seed oil 1.5% to repellent is decreased due to evaporation. The treatment
effect test from treatment Artemisia vulgaris 2%, Horticultural mineral oil 0.5%,
and Neem seed oil 1.5% showed that the treatments not giving impact to inhibit
growth of citrus.
