ANALISIS POTENSI HIDROKARBON PADA LAPANGAN
“POSEIDON 3D CEKUNGAN BROWSE AUSTRALIA BARAT”
BERDASARKAN SEISMIK 3D

Cekungan Browse adalah salah satu cekungan sedimen yang berkembang di
daerah Northwest Shelf yang terletak di lepas pantai Barat Laut Australia. Cekungan
Browse tepatnya pada Formasi Plover yang menjadi target berpotensi reservoir dan
juga berdasarkan dari tektonisme yang sangat kompleks sehingga adanya
lingkungan pengendapan sedimen sebagai potensi hidrokarbon reservoir atau
sebagai batuan induk pada daerah penelitian.
Cekungan Browse pada Lapangan Poseidon belum terdapat analisis
berdasarkan sikuen stratigrafi dengan atribut Root Mean Square, Sweetness dan
Envelope dan analisis Peta Isochrone. Dengan menggunakan metode yang berbeda
dari penelitian ConocoPhillips, 2010-2011 maka hasil analisanya pun berbeda,
sehingga menjadi langkah awal untuk melakukan Interpretasi selanjutnya.
Hasil dari analisis peta isochrone dalam menentukan ketebalan dan arah
pengendapan. Hasil peta struktur bahwa sebaran reservoir dominan berada pada
orientasi Timur Laut-Barat Daya. Formasi yang diindikasikan sebagai hidrokarbon
adalah Formasi Plover Reservoir, Formasi Montara, Formasi Jamison, Formasi
Woolaston, Formasi Johnson. Nilai amplitude tinggi sebesar RMS 40000 ms,
Sweetness 10000 ms dan envelope 50000 ms pada Formasi Jamison. Berdasarkan
nilai amplitude yang tinggi ada beberapa formasi yang diindikasikan sebagai zona
hidrokarbon diantaranya adalah Formasi Plover Reservoir, Formasi Montara,
Formasi Jamison, Formasi Woolaston, Formasi Johnson.

“POSEIDON 3D BROWSE BASIN OF WEST AUSTRALIA”
FIELD BASED ON 3D SEISMIC

The Browse Basin is one of the sedimentary basins that developed in the
Northwest Shelf area located off the coast of North West Australia. Basin Search is
precisely the Plover Formation which is a potential reservoir target and is also
based on very complex tectonism so that there is a sediment deposition environment
as a potential hydrocarbon reservoir or source rock in the research area.
The Browse Basin in the Poseidon Field does not yet have an analysis based
on stratigraphic sequence with the attributes Root Mean Square, Sweetness and
Envelope, and Isochrone Map analysis. By using a different method from the
ConocoPhillips research, 2010-2011, the results of the study are different, so it
becomes the first step for further interpretation.
The results of isochrone map analysis determine the thickness and direction
of deposition. The results of the structure map show that the dominant distribution
of reservoirs is in the Northeast-Southwest orientation. Formations indicated as
hydrocarbons are the Plover Reservoir Formation, Montara Formation, Jamison
Formation, Woolaston Formation, and Johnson Formation. High amplitude values
are RMS 40000 ms, Sweetness 10000 ms, and envelope 50000 ms in the Jamison
Formation. Based on high amplitude values, several formations are indicated as
hydrocarbon zones, including the Plover Reservoir Formation, Montara
Formation, Jamison Formation, Woolaston Formation, and Johnson Formation.
