9. ABSTRAK
PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile merupakan industri manufaktur di bidang
tekstil. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Departemen Weaving yang memproduksi kain grey
atau kain polos. Kondisi beban kerja antara stasiun kerja satu dengan stasiun kerja lain
pada Departemen Weaving tidak merata yang disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian jumlah
pekerja yang ada di tiap stasiun kerja, sehingga berdampak pada tidak tercapainya target
produksi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja
di tiap stasiun kerja serta memberikan usulan strategi perusahaan berdasarkan penentuan
jumlah tenaga kerja guna menyeimbangkan beban kerja dan mencapai target produksi.
Penelitian ini diselesaikan dengan menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja yang
diusulkan pada Departemen Weaving dengan metode Work Force Analysis (WFA) serta
memberikan usulan berdasarkan penentuan jumlah tenaga kerja guna mencapai target
produksi dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Perhitungan dengan
metode WFA diawali dengan menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja berdasarkan workforce
analysis, dan persentase tingkat absensi pada Departemen Weaving. Penentuan usulan
strategi perusahaan diawali dengan perumusan kriteria dan alternatif yang disusun dalam
struktur hierarki, penentuan prioritas dengan membandingkan elemen-elemen antar
kriteria serta alternatif dalam matriks perbandingan berpasangan, normalisasi matriks,
pengujian konsistensi, dan sintesis hasil.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah tenaga kerja yang diusulkan guna
menyeimbangkan beban kerja pada Departemen Weaving, yaitu pada SK warping dari 15
menjadi 11 tenaga kerja, SK sizing dari 15 menjadi 7 tenaga kerja, SK racing dari 25
menjadi 26 tenaga kerja, SK winding dari 75 menjadi 33 tenaga kerja, SK loom dari 159
menjadi 221 tenaga kerja, dan SK finishing dari 18 menjadi 30 tenaga kerja. Disimpulkan
bahwa total penambahan tenaga kerja pada Departemen Weaving sebanyak 21 tenaga
kerja. Usulan alternatif strategi perusahaan yang terpilih berdasarkan penentuan jumlah
tenaga kerja guna mencapai target produksi adalah kombinasi antara penambahan jam
lembur dan melakukan subkontrak karena memiliki nilai bobot prioritas tertinggi, yaitu
sebesar 0,219. Penambahan jam lembur disarankan pada SK racing dan finishing,
sedangkan subkontrak dilakukan pada SK loom.

10. ABSTRACT
PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile is a manufacturing industry in the textile
sector. This research was conducted in the Weaving Department which produces grey or
plain fabric. The workload condition between one workstation and another in the
Weaving Department is uneven due to the mismatch in the number of workers in each
workstation, so that it has an impact on not achieving the production target. Therefore,
this study aims to determine the number of workers at each workstation and provide
company strategy proposals based on determining the number of workers to balance the
workload and achieve production targets.
This research was completed by determining the number of workers proposed to
the Weaving Department using the Work Force Analysis (WFA) method and providing
proposals based on determining the number of workers to achieve production targets
using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The calculation with the WFA
method begins by determining the number of workers based on workforce analysis, and
the percentage of the attendance rate in the Weaving Department. The determination of
the company's strategy proposal begins with the formulation of criteria and alternatives
arranged in a hierarchical structure, priority determination by comparing elements
between criteria and alternatives in the paired comparison matrix, matrix normalization,
consistency testing, and synthesis of results.
The results of the study show that the number of workers proposed to balance the
workload in the Weaving Department, namely in the warping decree from 15 to 11
workers, the sizing decree from 15 to 7 workers, the racing decree from 25 to 26 workers,
the winding decree from 75 to 33 workers, the loom decree from 159 to 221 workers, and
the finishing decree from 18 to 30 workers. It was concluded that the total addition of
manpower to the Weaving Department was 21 workers. The proposed alternative strategy
of the company that was selected based on the determination of the number of workers to
achieve the production target was a combination of adding overtime hours and
subcontracting because it had the highest priority weight value, which was 0.219. The
addition of overtime hours is recommended in the racing and finishing decrees, while
subcontracting is carried out in the loom decree.
