Daerah penelitian secara administratif termasuk ke dalam Kelurahan Tanjung Enim,
Kecamatan Lawang Kidul, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatra Selatan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi geologi daerah
penelitian dan prediksi waktu kelongsoran. Daerah penelitian dipilih menjadi lokasi
yang diteliti dikarenakan pada daerah penelitian berkembang struktur geologi dan
aktivitas blasting yang cukup masif, dan lokasi penelitian memiliki aktivitas
penambangan yang padat. Metodologi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini terdiri
dari 4 metode yaitu pemetaan geologi permukaan, pembuatan penampang
stratigrafi terukur, pengambilan sampel batuan, dan pengolahan data slope stability
radar. Berdasarkan pemetaan geologi permukaan dan analisis aspek-aspek
geomorfologi, maka daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi 5 satuan bentuklahan, yaitu
satuan bentuklahan lahan bukaan tambang, lahan bekas tambang, timbunan
(disposal), sump, dan bukit intrusi. Stratigrafi daerah penelitian termasuk ke dalam
Formasi Muaraenim yang terdiri atas empat satuan tidak resmi, dari tua ke muda :
satuan batulempung Muaraenim dengan lingkungan pengendapan lower delta
plain, satuan batupasir Muaraenim dengan lingkungan pengendapan lower delta
plain, satuan andesit, dan yang terakhir timbunan/disposal. Struktur geologi yang
berkembang di daerah penelitian berupa kekar gerus berpasangan, sesar turun kiri,
sesar kiri turun yang dimungkinkan memengaruhi kestabilan lereng daerah
penelitian. Dari hasil analisis data slope stability radar terdapat perbedaan waktu
prediksi kelongsoran masing-masing velocity calculation period (VCP). Namun,
yang paling mendekati waktu kelongsoran aktual adalah velocity calculation period
60 menit. Perilaku deformasi lereng yang teramati pada periode waktu 1-10
Februari 2024 secara berurutan adalah linear-progresif-failure-linear.

ABSTRACT
The research area is administratively included in Tanjung Enim Village, Lawang
Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research aims
to determine the geological conditions of the research area and predict the time of
landslides. The research area was chosen as the research location because the
research area has developed quite massive geological structures and blasting
activities, and the research location has dense mining activity.. The methodology
used in this research consists of 4 methods, namely surface geological mapping,
making measured stratigraphic sections, taking rock samples, and processing slope
stability radar data. Based on surface geological mapping and analysis of
geomorphological aspects, the research area is divided into 5 landform units,
namely landform units of mine openings, ex-mining land, dumps, sumps and
intrusive hills. The stratigraphy of the research area belongs to the Muaraenim
Formation which consists of four unofficial units, from old to young: the
Muaraenim mudstone unit with a lower delta plain depositional environment, the
Muaraenim sandstone unit with a lower delta plain depositional environment, the
andesite unit, and finally the disposal. The geological structure that develops in the
research area is in the form of paired scour joints, left descending faults, left
descending faults which may influence the stability of the slopes of the research
area. From the results of slope stability radar data analysis, there are differences
in landslide prediction times for each velocity calculation period (VCP). However,
the closest thing to the actual landslide time is a velocity calculation period of 60
minutes. The slope deformation behavior observed in the time period 1 February-
10 February 2024 is linear-progressive-failure-linear.
