ABSTRAK
Persoalan menarik menjelang pilpres 2024 adalah munculnya isu Presiden Jokowi
3 periode. Isu ini menarik perhatian media karena memiliki dampak langsung
kepada masyarakat. Salah satu media yang turut serta memberitakan isu tersebut
yaitu Tribunnews.com. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui frame
pemberitaan mengenai Jokowi 3 periode pada media Tribunnews.com, berita yang
diambil yaitu dalam periode bulan Januari-Maret 2022. Metode yang digunakan
adalah framing Robert N. Entman, untuk menganalisis obyek penelitian
menggunakan empat konsep yaitu define problem, diagnose causes, make moral
judgement, dan treatment recommendation. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari
keseluruhan berita, define problems berita dari Tribunnews.com memuat
banyaknya dukungan dari berbagai pihak yang mengusung Jokowi 3 periode,
kemudian untuk diagnoses causes dijabarkan bahwa dukungan tersebut merujuk
kepada kepemimpinan Jokowi selama periode sebelumnya dianggap cukup baik,
sedangkan untuk moral judgment, masa jabatan 3 periode itu melanggar UUD
1945, dan treatment recomendation yang terdapat dalam berita tersebut
dikembalikan kepada aturan yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan
Tribunnews.com memberikan ruang berkaitan dengan latar belakang mengapa isu
Jokowi 3 periode muncul, namun Tribunnews.com mengingatkan bahwa usulan 3
periode melanggar konstitusi. Temuan ini membuktikan Tribunnews.com
menjalankan fungsi kontrol sosial ketika pemerintah berkuasa akan melanggar
konstitusi.

ABSTRACT
An interesting issue ahead of the 2024 presidential election is the emergence of
the issue of President Jokowi having 3 terms. This issue attracts media attention
because it has a direct impact on society. One of the media that participated in
reporting on this issue was Tribunnews.com. This research aims to determine the
frame of news about Jokowi for 3 periods in the media Tribunnews.com, the news
taken is in the period January-March 2022. The method used is Robert N.
Entman's framing to analyze research objects using four framing concepts,
namely define problem , diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment
recommendations. Based on the results of the analysis of the entire news, define
problems news from Tribunnews.com contains a lot of support from various
parties to carry Jokowi for 3 periods, then to diagnose causes it is explained that
this support refers to Jokowi's leadership during the previous period which is
considered quite good, while for moral judgment, The 3-term term of office
violates the 1945 Constitution, and the treatment recommendations contained in
the news are returned to existing regulations. The results of this research show
that Tribunnews.com provides space regarding the background to why the issue of
Jokowi for 3 terms arose, but Tribunnews.com warns that the proposal for 3 terms
violates the constitution. These findings prove that Tribunnews.com carries out a
social control function when the government is in power, which would violate the
constitution.
