RINGKASAN
PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari merupakan salah satu perusahaan dalam negeri
yang melakukan usaha di bidang pertambangan batubara dengan wilayah IUP
Operasi Produksi seluas 10.980 Ha yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Rawas Ilir,
Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Unit peremuk batubara di
PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari memiliki kapasitas sebesar 500 ton/jam yang terdiri
dari hopper, feeder, divergator, roll crusher, dan belt conveyor.
Sasaran produksi yang ditetapkan PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari pada bulan
Februari yaitu sebesar 75.000 ton/bulan atau 2.678,57 ton/hari. Tetapi produksi
nyata unit peremuk pada saat ini hanya sebesar 48.032,06 ton/bulan. Target
produksi yang belum tercapai tersebut disebabkan karena adanya hambatan yang
terjadi yang menyebabkan produksi unit peremuk batubara menjadi rendah.
Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan, dihasilkan waktu kerja efektif selama
4,53 jam/hari dari waktu yang tersedia 12 jam. Nilai ketersediaan dari unit peremuk
batubara yaitu Ketersediaan Mekanik (MA) = 83,29%, Ketersediaan Fisik (PA) =
92,42%, Ketersediaan Penggunaan Alat (UA) = 40,87%, dan Penggunaan Efektif
(EU) = 37,77%.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, untuk mencapai target produksi yang
diinginkan, maka perlu upaya yang dapat meningkatkan produksi batubara dari unit
peremuk. Upaya yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menangani waktu hambatan produksi
yang ada pada unit peremuk. Dengan penanganan tersebut maka waktu kerja efektif
akan meningkat menjadi 7,80 jam/hari, sehingga produksi nyata harian juga
bertambah menjadi 2.951,32 ton/hari atau 82.636,94 ton/bulan. Melalui
penanganan waktu hambatan produksi, maka target produksi pada unit peremuk
batubara PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari yaitu sebesar 75.000 ton/bulan akan
terpenuhi.

SUMMARY
PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari is one of the domestic companies doing
business in the field of coal mining with an IUP Production Operation area of
10,980 Ha located in Rawas Ilir District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South
Sumatra Province. The coal crushing unit at PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari has a
capacity of 500 tons/hour consisting of a hopper, feeder, divergator, roll crusher,
and belt conveyor.
The production target set by PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari in February was
75,000 tons/month or 2,678.57 tons/day. However, the actual production of the
crushing unit at this time was only 48,032.06 tons/month. The unachieved
production target is due to the obstacles that occur which cause the production of
the coal crushing unit to be low. Based on field observation, the effective working
time is 4.53 hours/day from the available time of 12 hours. The availability value
of the coal crushing unit is Mechanical Availability (MA) = 83.29%, Physical
Availability (PA) = 92.42%, Use of Availability (UA) = 40.87%, and Effective
Utilization (EU) = 37.77%.
Based on the research results, to achieve the desired production target, it is
necessary to make efforts that can increase coal production from the crushing unit.
The effort made is by handling the production bottleneck time in the crushing unit.
With this handling, the effective working time will increase to 7.80 hours/day, so
that the daily real production will also increase to 2,951.32 tons/day or
82,636.94 tons/month. Through the handling of production bottleneck time, the
production target at the PT Banyan Koalindo Lestari coal crushing unit, which is
75,000 tons/month, will be met.
