Abstract

RINGKASAN
PT Bukit Asam ( PT. BA) adalah perusahaan pemilik Izin Usaha
Pertambangan (IUP) yang bergerak dibidang pertambangan batubara. PT BA
berlokasi di Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Salah satu area
kerja PT BA adalah pit SJU, di mana sistem penambangan yang digunakan adalah
sistem tambang terbuka dengan metode open pit coal mining. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan teknis penambangan batubara dari bulan
Januari hingga Desember 2026.
Metodologi penelitian meliputi studi pustaka untuk mencari refrensi pustaka
yang berkaitan dengan rancangan teknis penambangan. Setelah itu, dilakukan
orientasi dan observasi lapangan mengenai masalah yang ada. Data yang digunakan
pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data tersebut selanjutnya akan
dilakukan pengolahan data dan dianalisis untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan berupa
rancangan teknis penambangan yang memenuhi target produksi batubara sebesar
1.400.000 ton/triwulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rancangan teknis kemajuan penambangan
mampu memenuhi target produksi yang telah ditentukan. Reserve berdasarkan
desain Triwulan Pertama didapatkan volume overburden sebesar 8.407.317 Bcm,
batubara sebesar 1.470.000 ton dengan SR 5,71:1, pada Triwulan Kedua didapatkan
volume overburden sebesar 8.691.624 Bcm, batubara sebesar 1.346.721 ton dengan
SR 6,45 : 1, pada Triwulan Ketiga didapatkan volume overburden sebesar
7.759.406 Bcm, batubara sebesar 1.526.000 ton dengan SR 5,08:1, pada Triwulan
Keempat didapatkan volume overburden sebesar 3.313.142 Bcm, batubara sebesar
1.403.300 ton dengan SR 2,36:1. Rancangan disposal terletak di sebelah timur dari
pit. Luas dari disposal adalah 168,10 Ha dengan kapasitas sebesar 42.046.997 Lcm.
Berdasarkan desain, disposal yang diterapkan adalah Teracce Dump dan Crest
Dump karena topografi di daerah penelitian relatif curam.

SUMMARY
PT Bukit Asam (PT. BA) is a company that holds a Mining Business License
(IUP) and is engaged in coal mining. PT BA is located in Muara Enim Regency,
East Kalimantan Province. One of PT BA's working areas is pit SJU, where the
mining system used is open pit coal mining. This study aims to create a technical
design for coal mining from January to December 2026.
The research methodology includes literature review to find relevant
references related to the technical design of mining. After that, orientation and field
observations are conducted to understand the existing issues. The data used in this
study are primary and secondary data. The data will be processed and analyzed to
obtain conclusions in the form of a technical design for mining that meets the coal
production target of 1,400,000 tons per quarter.
The research results show that the technical design of mining progress is
able to meet the predetermined production target. Based on the design in Quarters
1, the reserves obtained a volume of overburden of 8.407.317 Bcm, coal of
1.470.000 tons with an SR of 5,71:1. In Quarters 2, the volume of overburden
obtained was 8.691.624 Bcm, coal of 1.346.721 tons with an SR of 6,45:1. In
Quarters 3, the volume of overburden obtained was 7.759.406 Bcm, coal of
1.526.000 tons with an SR of 5,08:1. In Quarters 4, the volume of overburden
obtained was 3.313.142 Bcm, coal of 1.403.300 tons with an SR of 2,36:1The
disposal design is located to the east of the pit. The area of the disposal is 168,10
Ha with a capacity of 8.640.258 Lcm. Based on the design, the applied disposal
method is Teracce Dump and Crest Dump due to the relatively escarpment
topography in the research area.
