Abstract
v
RINGKASAN
PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) adalah perusahaan pemilik Izin Usaha
Pertambangan (IUP) yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara. PT MHU
berlokasi di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Salah satu
area kerjanya adalah pit J North, dimana sistem penambangan yang digunakan
adalah sistem tambang terbuka dengan metode open pit coal mining. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan teknis penambangan batubara dari bulan
Februari hingga April 2023.
Metodologi penelitian meliputi studi pustaka untuk mencari refrensi pustaka
yang berkaitan dengan rancangan teknis penambangan. Setelah itu, dilakukan
orientasi dan observasi lapangan mengenai masalah yang ada. Data yang digunakan
pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data tersebut selanjutnya
dilakukan pengolahan data dan dianalisis untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan berupa
rancangan teknis penambangan yang memenuhi target produksi batubara sebesar
329.200 ton/triwulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rancangan teknis kemajuan penambangan
mampu memenuhi target produksi yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan desain bulan
Februari 2023, didapatkan volume overburden sebesar 2.188.953 Bcm dan batubara
sebesar 121.899 ton dengan SR 17,38 : 1. Pada bulan Maret 2023 didapatkan
volume overburden sebesar 2.206.138 Bcm dan batubara sebesar 117.476 dengan
SR 18,78 : 1. Pada bulan April 2023 didapatkan volume overburden sebesar
1.965.037 Bcm dan batubara sebesar 107.229 ton dengan SR 18,33 : 1. Kebutuhan
alat gali-muat overburden pada bulan Februari sebanyak 14 unit, pada bulan Maret
sebanyak 13 unit, dan untuk bulan April sebanyak 12 unit. Alat gali-muat batubara
setiap bulannya sama yaitu 1 unit. Sedangkan kebutuhan alat angkut overburden
pada bulan Februari sebanyak 79 unit, pada bulan Maret sebanyak 79 unit, dan
untuk bulan April sebanyak 74 unit. Alat angkut batubara pada bulan Februari
sebanyak 39 unit, pada bulan April sebanyak 32 unit, dan untuk bulan April
sebanyak 30 unit. Rancangan disposal terletak di sebelah timur dari pit. Luas dari
disposal adalah 52,7 Ha dengan kapasitas sebesar 8.640.258 Lcm. Berdasarkan
desain, disposal yang diterapkan adalah teracce dump karena topografi di daerah
penelitian relatif landai.

SUMMARY
PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) is a coal mining company that holds
a Mining License (IUP) in Indonesia. PT MHU is located in Kutai Kartanegara,
East Kalimantan. One of PT MHU's working areas is pit J North, where an open
pit system is applied. This study aims to build a technical design from February to
April 2023.
The research methodology includes literature review to find relevant
references related to the mining technical design theory. After that, orientation and
field observations were conducted to understand the existing issues. The data used
in this study were primary and secondary data. The data will be analyzed in order
to meet coal production target of 329,200 tons per quarter. Finally, a conclusion
could be drawn accordingly.
The result showed that the built design was able to meet the predetermined
production target. Based on the design, in February 2023, the production of
overburden and the coal were 2.188.953 Bcm and 121.899 tons, respectively (SR of
17,38:1). In March 2023, the overburden and the coal were 2.206.138 Bcm and
117.476 tons, respectively (SR of 18,78:1). In April 2023, the overburden and the
coal were 1.965.037 and 107.229 tons, respectively (SR of 18,33:1). The need for
overburden digging and loading equipment in February was 14 units, in March it
was 13 units, and in April it was 12 units. The coal digging and loading equipment
is the same every month, namely 1 unit. Meanwhile, the need for overburden
transportation equipment in February was 79 units, in March it was 79 units, and
in April it was 74 units. In February there were 39 units of coal transportation
equipment, 32 units in April, and 30 units in April. The disposal was in the east of
the pit. The area of the disposal was 52,7 Ha with a capacity of 8.640.258 Lcm.
Based on the design, Teracce Dump method was applied to design the disposal. It
is due to the relatively flat topography.
