RINGKASAN
PT. Sinar Kumala Naga (SKN) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak.dalam
bidang pertambangan batubara. Perusahaan ini menggunakan metode
penambangan open pit. Penambangan ini menggunakan alat-alat mekanis seperti
excavator untuk melakukan penggalian atau pemuatan dan ada juga dump truck
sebagai alat angkut. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh PT. SKN dimulai dari
pemeriksaan dan pengecekan harian (P2H), wait instruction, coal getting, meal and
rest, coal getting, parking, sampai dengan pergantian shift. Penelitian ini dilakukan
yaitu untuk melakukan upaya agar sasaran produksi batubara di pit Decho dapat
tercapai sesuai yang direncanakan perusahaan. Dalam produksi batubara di pit
Decho, perusahaan menggunakan alat mekanis Excavator Power Plus 520E -IX dan
Dump Truck Shacman F3000. Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan produksi batubara PT.
SKN menggunakan sistem single back up dan juga menggunakan pola pemuatan
top loading. Dalam melaksanakan proses penambangan batubara perusahaan
menggunakan kombinasi alat kerja mekanis yaitu 1 excavator dan 7 dump truck.
Permasalahan yang dialami PT.SKN pada saat dilakukan penelitian yaitu
belum tercapainya sasaran produksi batubara sebesar 75.000 BCM/bulan.
Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kemampuan alat angkut untuk
memproduksi batubara hanya 82,90% dari target produksi atau sebesar 62.180,63
BCM/bulan. Sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya perbaikan terhadap faktor – faktor
yang mempengaruhi ketidaktercapainya target produksi batubara di pit Decho.
Upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi dilakukan dengan cara memperbaiki
waktu edar alat angkut dan menambah curah bucket yang awalnya 9 kali curah
menjadi 10 kali curah. Setelah dilakukannya perbaikan waktu edar dan penambahan
curah bucket maka produksi alat angkut terjadi peningkatan dari 62.180,63
BCM/bulan menjadi 81.362,4 BCM/bulan.

SUMMARY
PT. Sinar Kumala Naga (SKN) is a company engaged in coal mining. This
company uses the Open Pit mining method. The method uses mechanical tools
such as excavators to carry out excavation or loading, and there are also dump
trucks as means of transportation. Activities carried out by PT. SKN starts from
daily checks and rechecks, wait instructions, coal getting, meal and rest, coal
getting, parking, to shift changes.This research was conducted to make efforts so
that the coal production target at the pit Decho could be achieved as planned by the
company. In coal production at the pit Decho, the company uses mechanical devices
Excavator Power Plus 520E -IX and Dump Truck Shacman F3000. In carrying out
coal production activities PT. SKN uses a single back up system and also uses a
top loading pattern. In carrying out the coal mining process, the company uses a
combination of mechanical work tools such as 1 excavator and 7 dump trucks.
Problems experienced by PT. SKN at the time of the.research was not yet
achieved the coal production target of 75,000 BCM / month. Based on the results
of the study, it was found that the ability of transportation equipment to produce
coal was only 82.90% of the production target or 62,180.63 BCM /month. So efforts
need to be made to improve the factors that affect the non-achievement of coal
production targets at the Pit Decho.
Efforts to increase production were made by improving the distribution time
of conveyances and increasing bucket bulk from 9 times bulk to 10 times bulk.
After the improvement of circulation time and the addition of bulk buckets, the
production of transportation equipment increased from 62,180.63 BCM / month to
81,362.4 BCM / month.
