ABSTRAK
Kesehatan remaja merupakan bagian penting dari masyarakat. Pemerintah
Kalurahan Srimulyo melakukan upaya membuat pelayanan kesehatan untuk remaja
melalui Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Remaja. Dalam Posyandu remaja di Kalurahan
Srimulyo terdapat kurangnya partisipasi remaja. Hal tersebut diperlukan cara
berkomunikasi yang dapat menjangkau remaja secara efektif untuk diterima baik
oleh para remaja di Kalurahan Srimulyo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan
pola komunikasi kesehatan yang terjadi dalam Posyandu remaja di Kalurahan
Srimulyo, serta langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan Posyandu remaja.
Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Fuctional Perspective on
grup Decision Making oleh Hirokawa dan Gouran. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan
data wawancara mendalam (in dept interview), dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini
menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dalam menguji keabsahan data. Hasil pada
penelitian ini ditemukan pola komunikasi kesehatan yang terjadi dalam Posyandu
remaja di Kalurahan Srimulyo yaitu pola komunikasi sirkular. Proses penyampaian
pesan yang dilakukan dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan menggunakan teori
fungsional perspektive terdapat empat fungsi utama, namun dalam Posyandu
remaja di Kalurahan Srimulyo belum memenuhi salah satu fungsi utama yang
mengakibatkan kurangnya partisipasi remaja. Motivasi yang dilakukan belum
cukup efektif untuk menambahkan minat remaja dalam mengikuti kegiatan
Posyandu remaja di Kalurahan Srimulyo. Peneliti menyarankan petugas kesehatan
yang terlibat dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih dan mengundang psikolog
bagi anggota Posyandu remaja dan remaja lainnya.

ABSTRACT
Adolescent health is an important part of society. The government of Kalurahan
Srimulyo has made efforts to create health services for adolescents through the
Youth Integrated Service Post. In the adolescent posyandu in Kalurahan Srimulyo
there is a lack of adolescent participation. This requires a way of communicating
that can reach adolescents effectively to be well received by adolescents in
Kalurahan Srimulyo. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of
health communication that occurs in adolescent posyandu in Kalurahan Srimulyo,
as well as the steps taken in adolescent posyandu activities. The theory used in this
research is the Functional Perspective on Group Decision Making Theory by
Hirokawa and Gouran.The research method used was descriptive qualitative
research with data collection techniques of in-depth interviews, and literature
study. This research uses triangulation of data sources in testing the validity of the
data. The results of this study found that, health communication patterns that occur
in adolescent posyandu in Kalurahan Srimulyo are circular communication
patterns. The process of delivering messages carried out in decision making using
functional perspective theory has four main functions, but in the youth posyandu in
Kalurahan Srimulyo has not fulfilled one of the main functions which results in a
lack of youth participation. Motivation that is carried out is not effective enough to
increase adolescents' interest in participating in youth posyandu activities in
Kalurahan Srimulyo. The researcher suggested that the health workers involved
could provide more insight and invite psychologists for adolescent posyandu
members and other adolescents.
