Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the determin ant factors of the effectiveness of the network approach applied in European Union regional integration system based on the form of concatenated theory of variables of influence introduced by Raja Kali and Javier Reyes (2007) in their studies “ The Architecture of Globalization: a Network Approach to International Economic Integration ” . Objects that are studied in this research are implementation of Trans- European Network which consists on Trans-European Transportation Network (TEN-T), Trans-European Energi Network (TEN-E), and Trans- European Telecomunication Network (e-TEN) in Europe between the end priod of the 1980s to 2011. The research result showed that the existence of geographical area, financial income, and legal origin of European Union provide support for the effectiveness of implementa tion of the Trans-European Network.
