Abstract

Shallot cultivation is dealing with fusarium wilt disease. One of the alternatives to
control the disease is with Trichoderma harzianum and Mycorrhiza. This study
aimed to identify the effect of biological agent application time and dosage of a
combination of T. harzianum and Mycorrhiza. This research was conducted at the
Plant Protection Laboratory of the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran"
Yogyakarta, Depok, Sleman and Pundong, Tirtoadi, Sleman. The research method
used was a Completely Randomized Design with the main level being the
application time of biological agents consisting of 7 days before planting and at
planting, then the second level being T. harzianum 2.5g + Mycorrhiza 2.5g,
T. harzianum 5g + Mycorrhiza 5g, and T. harzianum 7.5g + Mycorrhiza 7.5g with
a total of 6 treatments and 1 separate control. Observation data were analyzed using
variance analysis (ANOVA). Analysis of treatment comparison with control using
Orthogonal Contrast Test. If there is a significant effect between treatments, it is
continued with DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at the 5% level. The results
showed that the application of biological agents 7 days before planting gave a
significant effect in reducing disease intensity and the combination dose of
T. harzianum 5g + Mycorrhiza 5g was the best treatment to suppress the intensity
of fusarium wilt disease.
