SARI
Secara administratif, lokasi penelitian terletak pada dua kabupaten yaitu
Kabupaten Kendal di bagian utara dan Kabupaten Temanggung di bagian selatan
area penelitian. Lokasi penelitian yang termasuk dalam Kabupaten Kendal terdiri
atas dua kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Gemuh meliputi Desa Sojomerto serta
Kecamatan Patean meliputi Desa Kalices, Kalilumpang, Curugsewu, dan
Sidokumpul. Sedangkan lokasi penelitian yang termasuk dalam Kabupaten
Temanggung terdiri atas Kecamatan Bejen meliputi Desa Selosabrang, Petung, dan
Selo dengan luasan kavling sebesar 26 km2. Secara geografis, lokasi penelitian
terletak pada koordinat 399900 mE – 403900 mE dan 9214500 mE – 9221000 mE.
Berdasarkan analisis pola pengaliran pada daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi
tiga yaitu pola pengaliran subtrelis, subparalel, dan subdendritik. Sedangkan
geomorfologi daerah penelitian tersusun atas enam bentuklahan, yaitu bentuklahan
perbukitan terkikis (D1), lereng struktural (S1), perbukitan struktural (S2), tubuh
sungai (F1), dataran fluvial (F2), dan perbukitan vulkanik (V1).
Stratigrafi daerah penelitian dari tua ke muda terdiri atas Satuan Batulempung
Karbonatan Kerek (Miosen Tengah – Akhir), Satuan Breksi Vulkanik Kaligetas
(Pliosen-Pleistosen), dan Satuan Endapan Aluvial (Holosen). Adapun struktur
geologi yang berkembang pada daerah penelitian berupa lipatan, kekar gerus, dan
sesar. Hasil analisis kekar mendapatkan tegasan terbesar (σ1) dengan arah relatif
utara – selatan serta terdapat 14 struktur sesar dan lipatan pada 14 lokasi penelitian
yang dikelompokkan dalam 3 kelompok, yaitu Sesar Anjak dan Lipatan (Fold –
thrust), Sesar Sobek (Tear Fault), dan Sesar Mendatar. Sesar mendatar tersebut
dikelompokkan lagi menjadi Sesar Mendatar Sojomerto – Kalices, Sesar Mendatar
Sojomerto – Curugsewu, dan Sesar Mendatar Sidokumpul – Selosabrang. Sesar
anjak dan lipatan memiliki arah relatif barat – timur, sedangkan sesar mendatar
memiliki arah relatif tenggara – baratlaut dengan pergerakan menganan dan timur
laut – barat daya dengan pergerakan mengiri. Sejarah geologi daerah penelitian
diawali dengan fase pre – thrusting Cekungan Kendeng pada kala Miosen Tengah
– Miosen Akhir, dilanjutkan dengan fase syn – thrusting pada kala Pliosen akhir,
dan diakhiri dengan fase post – thrusting yang berlangsung dari kala Pleistosen
hingga sekarang (Resen).
Daerah penelitian memiliki potensi geologi pada bidang minyak dan gas
bumi, geowisata, dan mata air. Keterdapatan rembesan minyak dan gas pada daerah
penelitian dipengaruhi oleh struktur geologi yang berkembang. Sehingga,
kelompok struktur geologi tersebut diinterpretasikan menerus hingga kedalaman di
mana perangkap minyak pada sistem fold – thrust belt berada dan bidang sesar
berfungsi sebagai jalur migrasi hidrokarbon ke permukaan.

ABSTRACT
Administratively, the research location is located in two districts, namely
Kendal Regency in the north and Temanggung Regency in the south of the study
area. The research locations in Kendal Regency consist of two sub-districts, namely
Gemuh Sub-District covering Sojomerto Village and Patean Sub-district covering
Kalices, Kalilumpang, Curugsewu, and Sidokumpul Villages. While the research
locations in the Temanggung Regency consist of the Bejen District including the
villages of Selosabrang, Petung, and Selo with a plot area of 26 km2.
Geographically, the research location is located at the coordinates 399900 mE –
403900 mE and 9214500 mE – 9221000 mE.
Based on the analysis of the drainage patterns in the study area, the drainage
patterns are divided into three, namely sub-trellis, sub-parallel, and sub-dendritic
flow patterns. While the geomorphology of the study area is composed of six
landforms, namely eroded hills (D1), structural slopes (S1), structural hills (S2),
river bodies (F1), fluvial plains (F2), and volcanic hills (V1).
The stratigraphy of the study area from old to young consists of the Kerek
Carbonate Claystone Unit (Middle–Late Miocene), the Kaligetas Volcanic Breccia
Unit (Pliocene-Pleistocene), and the Alluvial Sediment Unit (Holocene). The
geological structures that develop in the study area are folds, shear joints, and faults.
The results of the joint analysis obtained the maximum stress (σ1) in a relatively
north – south direction and there were 14 fault and fold structures at 14 study
locations which were grouped into 3 groups, namely Fold – Thrust, Tear Faults, and
Strike Slip Fault. The strike slip faults are further grouped into the Sojomerto –
Kalices Fault, the Sojomerto – Curugsewu Fault, and the Sidokumpul – Selosabrang
Fault. Fold – thrusts are in relatively west-east direction, while strike slip faults
have a relatively southeast – northwest direction with a dextral movement and
northeast – southwest movement with a sinistral movement. The geological history
of the study area begins with the pre – thrusting phase of the Kendeng Basin during
the Middle Miocene – Late Miocene, followed by the syn – thrusting phase during
the late Pliocene, and ends with the post – thrusting phase which took place from
the Pleistocene to the recent.
The research area has geological potential in the fields of oil and gas, tourism,
and springs. The presence of oil and gas seeps in the study area is influenced by the
developing geological structure. Thus, the group of geological structures is
interpreted continuously to a depth where the oil traps in the fold-thrust belt system
are located and the fault plane functions as a migration path for hydrocarbons to the
surface.
