INTERMEDIATE CASING PADA SUMUR “DUL-017”
LAPANGAN “ARH” MENGGUNAKAN DATA CBL-VDL

Evaluasi pada sumur “DUL-017”adalah mengevaluasi kualitas bounding pada
primary cementing di sumur ini. Apabila dari hasil evaluasi penyemenan pada casing
intermediate ditemukan adanya indikasi free pipe dan channeling atau tidak memiliki
ikatan dan kekuatan semen yang tidak baik maka perlu diambil tindakan untuk
remedial atau squezee cementing.
Metodologi yang digunakan dalam menganalisa dan mengevaluasi hasil
penyemenan pada casing intermediate 9 5/8 inch dilakukan dengan menggunakan
kombinasi dari hasil pembacaan peralatan Cement Bond Log (CBL) dan Variety
Density Log (VDL). Analisa dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisa
Kuantitatif meliputi perhitungan untuk menentukan nilai dari compressive strenght
(CS), bond index (BI), dan good bond. Sementara analisa kualitatif meliputi pembacaan
kurva Transite Time, Amplitudo serta gelombang sinyal VDL. Dari hasil analisa
tersebut kemudian juga dilakukan evaluasi desain bubur semen.
Hasi evaluasi analisa kuantitatif pada sumur “DUL-017” lapangan “arh”
sebesar 55,37% Compressive Strength yang baik, 12,40% Compressive Strength yang
sedang dan 58,9% Compressive Strength yang buruk.dan untuk Bond Index baik adalah
30,85% dan untuk Bond Index yang buruk adalah69,15%. dan hasil analisa kualitatif
menunjukan 75,20% hasil penyemenan baik. Maka, berdasarkan hasil dari analisa CBL
dan VDL, evaluasi penyemenan primer pada casing intermediate 9 5/8 inch sumur
“DUL-017” lapangan “ARH” menunjukan hasil penyemenan yang tidak aman,
sehingga diperlukan penyemenanulang atau recementing.

INTERMEDIATE CASING IN THE “DUL-017” WELL “ARH”
FIELD USING CBL-VDL DATA

Evaluation of the "DUL-017" well is an evaluation of the bonding quality of the
primary cementing in this well. If the results of the evaluation of the cementing of the
intermediate casing show indications of free pipe and channeling or not having good
bonding and cement strength, it is necessary to take action for remedial or squeeze
cementing.
The methodology used in analyzing and evaluating the results of cementing the
intermediate 9 5/8 inch casing was carried out using a combination of the readings of
the Cement Bond Log (CBL) and Variety Density Log (VDL) equipment. The analysis
was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative analysis includes
calculations to determine the value of compressive strength (CS), bond index (BI), and
good bond. While qualitative analysis includes reading the Transite Time curve,
Amplitude and VDL signal waves. From the results of the analysis, an evaluation of
the cement slurry design was also carried out.
The results of the evaluation of quantitative analysis on the "DUL-017" well in
the "ARH" field were 55.37% good compressive strength, 12.40% medium compressive
strength and 58.9% bad compressive strength. And for good Bond Index is 30.85% and
for bad Bond Index is 69.15%. And the results of qualitative analysis showed 75.20%
good cementing results. So, based on the results of the CBL and VDL analysis,
evaluation of the primary cementing of the intermediate casing 9 5/8 inches of the
"DUL-017" well "ARH" field showed unsafe cementing results, so re-cementing was
needed.
