ABSTRAK
Pada tanggal 24 Februari 2022, Rusia melancarkan operasi militer berskala
besar terhadap Ukraina yang merupakan negara tetangganya di sebelah barat daya.
Invasi tersebut menandakan peristiwa penting dalam hubungan Rusia-Ukraina yang
berubah pada tahun 2014. Beberapa negara anggota Uni Eropa menggantungkan
sektor perdagangannya dengan Rusia, dimana Rusia memegang komoditas energi
dan gas di kawasan Eropa. Tujuan penelitian tersebut untuk menganalisis seberapa
jauh perngruh monopoli Rusia. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut penulis
menggunakan konsep invasi, teori ketergantungan dan teori krisis energi. Hasil dari
analisis tersebut ialah dapat diketahui bahwa monopoli Rusia berpengaruh pada
naiknya harga – harga komoditas dan mendorong terjadinya resesi di Eropa.
Ketergantungan akan komoditas penting yang dimonopoli Rusia tersebut dapat
menjadi dorongan untuk melawan kekuatan Rusia.

ABSTRACT
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a large-scale military operation
against Ukraine, its southwest neighbor. The invasion marked a key event in Russia-
Ukraine relations which changed in 2014. Several EU member states depend on
their trade sector with Russia, where Russia holds energy and gas commodities in
the European region. The purpose of this research is to analyze how far the influence
of the Russian monopoly is. To answer these problems the authors use the concept
of invasion, dependency theory and energy crisis theory. The result of this analysis
is that it can be seen that the Russian monopoly has an effect on increasing
commodity prices and driving a recession in Europe. Dependence on this important
commodity that is monopolized by Russia can be an impetus to fight against
Russian power.
