LAPANGAN “BUMI”

Sumur NA-17 dan NA-18 Lapangan “BUMI” merupakan sumur prospek
hidrokarbon yang terletak di Cekungan Natuna Barat, Kepulauan Riau. Kedua
sumur tersebut berstatus sumur eksplorasi dengan zona produktif terletak pada
Formasi Lama sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui
zona prospek hidrokarbon, serta jumlah cadangan gas awal pada sumur tersebut.
Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengelompokkan data dan melihat ketersediaan data
untuk penentuan zona prospek hidrokarbon, kemudian melakukan environmentals
correction menggunakan chart Schlumberger. Setelah itu melakukan analisa
kualitatif untuk menentukan kedalaman top dan bottom, memperkirakan fluida
pengisi pori, dan menentuan ketebalan lapisan porus yang mengandung
hidrokarbon. Kemudian pada analisa kuantitatif diantaranya melakukan
perhitungan volume shale, perhitungan porositas, dan perhitungan saturasi air.
Kemudian melakukan analisa cut off untuk membedakan lapisan produktif dan
tidak produktif lalu melakukan reservoir lumping, dan terakhir melakukan
perhitungan original oil in place (OGIP).
Dari analisa kualitatif didapatkan 11 lapisan prospek untuk sumur NA-17 dan 10
lapisan prospek untuk sumur NA-18. Perhitungan volume shale dengan
menggunakan gamma ray log, sedangkan untuk porositas menggunakan metode
neutron-density, serta penentuan saturasi dengan metode Indonesia. Langkah
selanjutnya yaitu melakukan cut off sehingga didapatkan nilai cut off Vshale
sebesar 0.34 dan cut off porositas sebesar 0.11. Sedangkan untuk saturasi air tidak
dilakukan cut off karena gas pada tekanan kecil sekalipun tetap bisa mengalir.
Langkah berikutnya yaitu melakukan reservoir lumping pada sumur NA-17 dan
didapatkan net pay sebesar 419.22 ft sedangkan sumur NA-18 382.4 ft. Langkah
terakhir melakukan perhitungan initial gas in-place berdasarkan inplace sumuran/
well basis sehingga pada sumur NA-17 dan NA-18 masing-masing didapatkan hasil
OGIP sebesar 76.92 BSCF dan 40.17 BSCF.

The NA-17 and NA-18 wells of the "BUMI" field are prospecting wells for
hydrocarbons located in the West Natuna Basin, Riau Islands. Both of these wells
have the status of exploration wells with a productive zone located in the Lama
Formation, so further research is needed to determine the prospect zone for
hydrocarbons, as well as the amount of initial gas reserves in these wells.
This research begins by grouping data and data availability to determine prospect
zones for hydrocarbons, then carrying out environmental corrections using the
Schlumberger chart. After that carry out a qualitative analysis to determine the top
and bottom depths, estimate the pore filling fluid, and determine the thickness of
the porous layer containing hydrocarbons. Then quantitative analysis includes
calculating the volume of shale, calculating porosity, and calculating water
saturation. Then carry out a cut-off analysis to distinguish productive and
unproductive layers, then perform reservoir lumping, and finally perform original
oil in place (OGIP) calculations.
From the qualitative analysis obtained 11 prospect layers for well NA-17 and 10
prospect layers for well NA-18. Calculation of shale volume using gamma ray log,
while for porosity using the neutron-density method, as well as determination of
saturation with the Indonesian method. The next step is to cut off so that the Vshale
cut off value is 0.34 and the porosity cut off is 0.11. Meanwhile, for water
saturation, a cut-off is not carried out because even gas at low pressure can still
flow. The next step is to perform reservoir lumping on well NA-17 and obtain a net
pay of 419.22 ft while well NA-18 is 382.4 ft. The last step is to calculate the initial
gas in-place based on the inplace well/ well basis so that the NA-17 and NA-18
wells obtained OGIP results of 76.92 BSCF and 40.17 BSCF respectively.
