RINGKASAN
REDESIGN KAPASITAS RIG PADA PERENCANAAN
PEMBORAN SUMUR “ZYN-10” LAPANGAN “MF”

Penggunaan rig dengan kapasitas yang lebih rendah dari kebutuhan
kapasitas yang dibutuhkan lapangan akan menyebabkan terjadinya problem
mekanis yang akan menghambat proses pemboran yang dilakukan. Redesign
kapasitas rig pada operasi pemboran merupakan salah satu cara untuk memenuhi
kebutuhan kapasitas yang dibutuhkan. Pada perencanaan pemboran sumur “ZYN-
10” lapangan “MF” rig yang digunakan adalah rig EMSCO D-2 M dimana rig ini
berkapasitas 750 HP pada drawwork dan 1.477 HP input prime mover. Sumur
“ZYN-10” merupakan konstruksi sumur dangkal pada lapangan “MF” sehingga
perlu dilakukan redesign kapasitas rig.
Redesign kapasitas rig dilakukan pada 3 sistem yaitu sistem angkat meliputi
penentuan beban vertical yang meliputi berat rangkaian drill string, berat rangkaian
casing string, sehingga didapat besarnya horse power yang dibutuhkan pada
drawwork. Sistem putar meliputi penentuan RPM kritis, penentuan torsi
maksimum, sehingga didapat besarnya horse power pada sistem putar. Sistem
sirkulasi meliputi penentuan laju alir minimum, penentuan pressure loss pada
sistem sirkulasi, sehingga diperoleh horse power yang dibutuhkan pada pompa
lumpur. Kemudian horse power aktual yang dibutuhkan lapangan saat pemboran
akan dibandingkan dengan kapasitas rig EMSCO D-2 M.
Besarnya beban total pada menara (mast) adalah 290.817,81 lb,
kebutuhan horsepower drawwork untuk fungsi angkat adalah 353,99 hp, untuk
horsepower prime mover pada sistem angkat adalah 544,38 hp.Untuk sistem
putar besarnya horse power pada drawwork untuk memutar top drive sebesar
187,5 hp, pada prime mover sebesar 275,74 hp. Untuk sistem sirkulasi besarnya
rate input pompa sebesar 1029,23 hp, prime mover 1.210,86 hp. Kapasitas rig
EMSCO D2-M pada sistem angkat yaitu 750 hp (drawwork), 738 hp (prime
mover), 352.743,9 lb (menara). Pada sistem putar yaitu 750 hp (drawwork),738
hp (prime mover), 3000 hp (3 unit pompa), dan sebesar 1476,7 hp (2 unit prime
mover). Berdasarkan perhitungan analisa rig cost, diperoleh harga sewa rig
EMSCO D2-M 750 HP sebesar 658.125 USD atau 10.118.671.875 IDR.
Sedangkan menggunakan rig 650 HP diperoleh biaya sewa sebesar 570.375
USD atau 8.760.515.625 IDR. Penggunaan rig EMSCO D2-M belum effisien
karena selisih kapasitas yang cukup besar, maka dari itu disarankan untuk
mengganti rig dengan kapasitas 650 HP.

ABSTRACT
REDESIGN RIG CAPACITY ON “ZYN-10” WELL DRILLING
PLANNING “MF” FIELD

The use of a rig with a capacity lower than required capacity in the field
will cause mechanical problems that will hinder the drilling process. Redesigning
rig capacity in drilling operations is one way to meet the required capacity
requirements. In planning drilling of the "ZYN-10" well in "MF" field the rig used
is EMSCO D-2 M rig. This rig has a capacity of 750 HP in the drawwork and 1,477
HP input prime mover. The "ZYN-10" well is a shallow well construction in the
"MF" field, so it is necessary to redesign the capacity of the rig.
Redesign rig capacity was carried out on 3 systems, namely hoisting system
which included determining vertical load which included weight of drill string
assembly, weight of casing string assembly, so that amount of horse power needed
in drawwork was obtained. Rotating system includes determining critical RPM,
determining maximum torque, so that amount of horse power in rotating system is
obtained. Circulating system includes determining minimum flow rate, determining
pressure loss in circulating system, so that the required horse power is obtained for
the slurry pump. Actual total horse power required by field during drilling will be
compared with EMSCO D-2 M rig capacity.
In hoisting system total load on the tower (mast) is 290.817,81 lb,
horsepower drawwork requirement for the hoisting system is 353.99 hp, for the
prime mover horsepower in hoisting system is 544.38 hp. For rotating system
amount of horse power on top drive is 187.5 hp, on prime mover it is 275.74 hp.
For circulating system, pump input rate is 1029.23 hp, prime mover is 1210.86
hp. Capacity of EMSCO D2-M rig on hoisting system is 750 hp (drawwork),
738 hp (prime mover), 352.743,9 lb (mast). Rotating system is 750 hp
(drawwork), 738 hp (prime mover), 3000 hp (3 pump units), and 1476.7 hp (2
prime mover units). Based on rig cost analysis calculations, rental fee for
EMSCO D2-M 750 HP rig is 658,125 USD or 10,118,671,875 IDR. While using
a 650 HP rig, a rental fee of 570,375 USD or 8,760,515,625 IDR is obtained.
The use of EMSCO D2-M rigs has not been efficient due to the considerable
capacity difference, therefore it is recommended to replace the rig with a
capacity of 650 HP.
