Abstract
The research was carried out to found Azolla fertilizer recommended with decreasing anorganic fertilizer and to determine harvest time of the best rice yield and seed quality. The experiment was done from April to October2009 in Potrojayan,Madurejo, Prambanan,Sleman, Yogyakarta and Plant Breeding Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of UPN 'Veteran'Yogyakarta. The experiment was arranged in Split plot design using Randomized Complete Block Design with 3
replications.The main plot was fertilizer combination consisted of 4 levels,ie l.NoAzolla,Urea300 kg ha-l, 125kg ha-1 SP36,KCl 100 kg ha·l (PI) 2.Urea250 kg ha·l,75 kg ha-l SP36, 60 kgha-l KCl and fresh azolla 3 ton ha-l (P2) 3.Urea 200 kgha-l,100 kgha-1 SP 36,80 kg KCI and fresh azolla 3 ton ha-l (P3),4.Urea150 kgha-l, 125kg SP36,100kg KCI and fresh azolla3 ton ha-l (P4).The sub plot was harvest time consisted of 3 1evels ie 110 (Ul),120 (U2),and130 days (U3). The results showed that l.Fertilizer combination of Urea250 kg ha-1,75kg ha-l SP36, 60 kgha-1 KCl and fresh azolla 3ton ha-l gave the highest capacity of germination 2.The only NPK dosages recomended(Urea300 kgha-l, 125kg ha-l SP36,KCl 100kg ha-l, no fresh azolla)gave the best grain yield per plant 3. Time harvest on 120 days after plant gave the best grain yield per plant, 100seed dry weight and seed vigor.
