Abstract

The mining industry is one of the industries that has caused
environmental damage. It is not only deforestation, but pollution,
groundwater, and air problems caused by the mining industry. Departing
from the worsening ecological conditions due to development, the mining
industry became environmentally friendly by adopting the so-called green
mining. This article wants to examine the application of green mining in
Indonesia to find out the main strategies they carry out by mining
companies. Through descriptive analysis, this article finds that the green
mining industry in Indonesia is organized through cooperation between
the government, mining companies, investors, and researchers. The
association is practiced through the so-called green policy, green
management, green investment, and green technology
