ORGANIK CAIR KOTORAN SAPI TERHADAP SERAPAN
NITROGEN (N) DAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN BAYAM MERAH
(Amaranthus tricolor L.) PADA TANAH REGOSOL

ABSTRAK
Regosol merupakan tanah muda yang mempunyai tingkat kesuburan rendah
dan unsur hara yang mudah tercuci. Pemberian pupuk organik padat (POP) dan pupuk
organik cair (POC) merupakan bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki
permasalahan tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Pengaruh Pemberian
POP dan POC Kotoran Sapi terhadap Serapan Nitrogen (N) dan Pertumbuhan Tanaman
Bayam Merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) pada Tanah Regosol. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan dua faktor.
Faktor pertama adalah dosis POP dengan dosis 0, 20, dan 40 ton/ha. Faktor kedua
adalah dosis POC terdiri dari 0, 200, dan 250 ml/L. Parameter penelitian adalah pH,
kadar lengas, kemantapan agregat tanah, KPK tanah, C-Organik, N-total, N-tersedia,
dan serapan hara N tanaman. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Analysis of Varians
(ANOVA), bila berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT 5% (Duncan Multiple Range
Test) untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar rata-rata perlakuan. Pemberian perlakuan POC
dapat meningkatkan kadar lengas tanah dan hasil tanaman bayam merah. Pemberian
perlakuan POP dapat meningkatkan kadar lengas tanah, kemantapan agregat, pH H2O,
C-organik, KPK, N-total, N-tersedia, serapan hara N, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan
berat basah dan kering tanaman bayam merah. Interaksi kombinasi POP dan POC dapat
meningkatkan kadar lengas tanah dan serapan hara N. Pemberian kombinasi POP dan
POC pada POC dosis 0 ml/L dengan POP dosis 40 ton/ha memberikan hasil yang
terbaik.

ABSTRACT
Regosol is a young soil that has a low fertility level and nutrients that are easily
leached. Solid organic fertilizer (POP) and liquid organic fertilizer (POC) are materials
that can be used to improve soil problems. The purpose of this study was to determine
the effect of POP and POC cow manure on the nitrogen (N) absorption and growth of
red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) in Regosol soil. This study used a completely
randomized design (CRD) factorial with two factors. The first factor was the dose of
POP of 0, 20, and 40 tons/ha. The second factor was the POC dose consisting of 0, 200,
and 250 ml/L. The research parameters were pH, moisture content, soil aggregate
stability, soil CEC, organic C, total N, available N, and plant N uptake. The results of
the study were analyzed by Analysis of Variance, followed by a 5% DMRT (Duncan
Multiple Range Test) to determine differences between treatment averages.
Application of POC significantly increased the soil moisture content and yield of red
spinach plants. The POP treatment had significant effects on soil moisture content,
aggregate stability, H2O pH, C-organic, KPK, total N, available N, N nutrient uptake,
plant height, number of leaves, and wet and dry weights of red spinach, particularly at
the higher rates. The combination of POC at a dose of 0 ml/L with the application of
POP at a dose of 40 tons/ha gave the best results.
