Abstract
This presentation discusses technological innovation as a strategy to survive and sustain in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The presentation begins with the understanding and history of COVID-19 and its impact on supply and demand. It is then continued with the resilience of the manufacturing industry by utilizing technology in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak. The presentation also describes the challenges of PPIC both during and after the pandemic. In general, this presentation concludes that the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on increasing the nature of uncertainty, increasing the opportunity to develop a circular economy, changing consumer preferences, changing global trade patterns, changing demographics and social lifestyles, and rapid technological advances. In addition, technological innovation could be the key to success for survival, resilience, and sustainability for the manufacturing industry amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the future.
