Abstract

This study aimed to solve the raw material management problem faced by PT. Adi Satria Abadi, a company that produces sheep and goat pikel. Although the company could meet its raw material needs from various suppliers, the quality of the raw materials did not always match the criteria. This resulted in discrepancies between the amount of production and the availability of raw materials, causing losses due to storage costs and damaged materials. To address this problem, the study integrated the Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) method with the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method to prioritize suppliers. The study found that the method was effective in streamlining production, reducing storage costs, and minimizing damage to raw materials. The implication of the study is that SWARA-ARAS integration can be a useful approach for other companies to optimize their supplier prioritization and improve their raw material management.
