Abstract

ABSTRACT
The objective of research was to study the effect of application oxyfluorfen herbicide and liquid
fertilizer on the growth and yield of mungbean. The experiment was arranged in Completely
Randomized Design with 2 factors. The first factor comprises of 3 levels of oxyfluorfen dosage
(1,2 and 3kg ha-1 a...i), the second factor was concentration of liquid fertilizer (1,2 and 3ml/D)and
control treatment with twice weeding on the third and sixth week after planting. The results of this
research showed that oxyfluorfen dosage application influence percentage of weeds covering area
at 3and 6weeks after planting, leaf area at 5and7 weeks after planting, plant dry weight, number
of pods and dry seed weight per hectare. Concentration of Liquid fertilizer gave significant effect
on leaf area at 7weeks after planting. The Best dosage on weed suppression was 2 and 3kg ha-1
a...i which was expressed on percentage of weed covering area at 3and 6weeks after planting, while
the best dosage on growth and yield of mungbean was 2 kg ha-1 a...i, indicated by leaf area
parameters at 7week after planting and dry seed weight per hectare. The concentration of liquid
fertilizer at concentration of 2 and 3ml/I were able to provide a good plant growth, shown in leaf
area at 7weeks after planting.
