Abstract
guaranteed Food security is a concept that includes the production that can guarantee availability at any time and can be reached by the public in compliance with sustainability principles.Agriculture is a sector that should be responsible for food security and is a mainstay of the economic development of Indonesia. Government attention to the agricultural sector is critical to making agriculture as a toehold in food security as well as within the economic development of Indonesia. One constraint in increasing agricultural production is the disruption ofplant pests. Weeds as crop pests is one important obstacle to be overcome to prevent the decline in agricultural output One attempt to do the proper weed control to obtain satisfactory results with respect to environmental safety aspects are known for an integrated control system. In the integrated control system made by combining various control measures, ranging from land preparation, cultivation methods,how to fertilization,irrigation, control of which is directly control mechanical, physical, and biological Control with chemicals (herbicides)should be placed as the last alternative.
