Abstract

The objective of this research was to obtain banana's seedling with uniform and vigorous growth, and to determine the appropriate NAA concentration of each cultivar. This research was arranged in a split plot design. The main plot was banana cultivar consisted of Mas, Ambon and Raja, while the sub plot was the concentration of NAA consisted of 0,20,40 and 60 ppm. The results showed that without the application of NAA, Mas gave the best response on plant height, percentage of seedling survived, leaf area, dry weight of root and shoot Ambon and Raja gave thebest response on plant height, leafarea, root and shoot dry weight by application of NAA at concentrations of 60 ppm.
