Abstract
This study aimed to examine several type of organic fertilizers to produce thecayenne pepper. The experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research, Agriculture Faculty, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta by using randomized complete block desin with a single factor and three replications. The treatments were tested consisting of (1) rabbit manure, (2) goat manure, (3) chicken manure, (4) cow manure, (5) compost of the leaves, and (6) granules shape compost. The variance of dat were analyzed and Duncan Mültiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% was used to determine the significant difference among treatments. The results showed that organic feftilizer of chicken manure produced number of fruit and weight of cayenne pepper/plant was better than the other treatments, however several type of the organic fertilizers did not affect to diameter and length of cayenne pepper fruit.
