Abstract
Food diversity is a developmental process of using and food available, more diversification base on local resources. The diversification use in available, aspect is the diversity alternative localfood in offer, one is "uwi ungu". "Uwi ungu" is a source of involving corms which has not been optimally explored for its nutritions properties. "Uwi ungu" source of carbohydrate which contains phenolic compound, and high in anthocyanin, one of antioxidant. In general this plant un cultivation just wild growth in forest and yard as well as. By technology and new innovation, uwi has verticulture in limited area. Verticulture method can used container from sylindric strimin cable. The profit of uwi ungu is can limited area, efficient fertilizer, less plant disease, house decoration and container makes in the same corms, If this uwi verticulture model can apply in house, it can acceleration of available, local food diverse.
