Abstract
Integrated agri-tourism village providing attraction tourist to visit to Sleman Regency.
But,a growing number of tourist who visited the village would increased volume of the
waste, so that could be damaged environment. “Green village and nature conservation”
were an ecotourism concept of Brayut and Kadisobo II villages. Attempts to create
“environment more greener” could be done trought verticulture system by using
container from industrial waste household. The purpose of activities
include:(1)provided skill in cultivation of verticulture technology; (2)provided skill
usage of industrial waste house hold for verticulture container; (3)provided an
alternative technology that could be turned into a tour package to add the income
community. The approach of method include: training about professional life skills,
mentoring of transfer of technology about organic-agriculture development by
verticulture system. This effort by making the verticulture container from industrial
waste household and cultivation practices.The expected result include:
(1)improvement knowledge and competence for the community about verticulture
cultivation and life skill; (2)increase the ability of community to develop the limited
agriculture land by using industrial waste household in which environmentally
friendly; (3)verticulture technology could be one of the tourist package to support
development of integrated agri-tourism village.
