Abstract

The study of organizational communication is the most relevant to display the role of individuals and groups. Leadership style of a leader of an organization can determine the success or failure of the overall organizational goals. This study aims to determine whether leadership style has a positive relationship and significant organizational culture; to determine if the organizational culture has a positive relationship with performance and significant employee relations leadership style has a positive and significant to the performance; and to determine whether leadership style have a positive relationship and significant with the employee's performance in which the organizational culture as a control variable. Survey method used for this research based on quantitative method. 207 of the employee of PT Adi Satria Abadi Yogyakarta as population. Probability sampling anda random sampling were used to take 62 respondent. Product moment and partial correlation using for data analyzing. The result show the first hypothesis told that leadership style having positive significant correlations with the organizations climate on PT ASA Yogyakarta. Based on Contingency Theory Leadership, there was a relation between leadership style with conditional situation. Second hypothesis said that organizations climate accepted in due to having positive significant with employee performance. Refers to Kotter and Heskett, every layer manager has value adoption and method while run the successful business. Third hypothesis has positive and significant relations with the employee’s of PT ASA Yogyakarta. The fourth hypothesis said that leadership style has positive significant with employee performance which refusing the control variable, since the culture of the organization as a control variable has weak relations with a leadership style and employee performance in PT ASA Yogyakarta.
