Abstract
Dragon fruits is very familiar hearing in Indonesian people especially in Yogyakarta in the end of 2008. It became as popular fruits because in Chinese people, dragon fruit is the good fruit that must be bought in term of anniversary, especially in IMLEK time. The Objection of the research is to Analyze of consumer attitude of dragon fruits that sell in modern market in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta(DIY). In these case we focus in dragon fruit that sourced from Local and import product. The method of the research is survey, wherever accidental sampling is done to close the objection of this research. Superindo Supermarket was chosen as location of the research because Superindo is the biggest supermarket in DIY. Data collection with interview to respondents, and analysis technique with Fishbein Multiatribute Model. The parameter that called attribute of dragon fruits was analyzed are price, flavor, colour, aroma of product and package. The end of the research showed that consumer attitude toward attribute of local dragon fruit are price,package, flavor, colour and aroma. In other hand, consumer attitude of import dragon fruits are price, package, colour, flavor and aroma To improve local dragon fruits get the good market, we concluded that we must increase the attribute of price, and quality of the dragon fruits: package and flavor and colour
