Abstract
This Research was purposed to assesment of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technology and also to study the role IPM technology able to increase yield, productivity and Farmer income. This Technology consisted of 5 (five) activity: 1. Frequent for Harvesting, pruning, fertilizing, Sanitation, and Pod sleeving. The first action was making socialization of all steps of IPM program that will be implemented on the Field. With Proportional Random sampling methode, 35 farmers were chosen from cocoa farmer population in Kecamatan Kalibawang Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Selected farmer are the cocoa farmer that had studied in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Course last time. The result of the study showed that IPM Technology can increase yield of cocoa product in 69.80 %. In other hand, IPM Technology also can improve the cocoa farmer income too. We concluded that IPM technology is beneficially for cocoa farmer in this location.
