Abstract

This study examines the relationships between firm charateristics and capital structure decisions in food and beverage listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample selection is performed based on purposive sampling. Analysis method used is multiple regression. This study finds that firm. charateristics can use explained to capital structure decisions. Based on multiple regression analysis shows that firm charateristics simultaneously have significant effect on debt policy. Managerial ownership, common stockholder, profitability, free cash flow negative effect on capital structure and dividend payout, tax, growth and firmsize positively related to capital structure.
