Abstract
Natural zeolite of clinoptillolite hasn’t role in adsortion of anionic chromium. The aim
of the study is to make an absorbent which be able to adsorp chromium heavy metal in
solution. The method of charge manipulation of clinoptillolite use Fe(NO3)3 solution.
The result showed that Fe treated clinoptillolite can adsorp chromium significantly.
Low concentration of chromium solution can be adsorpted highly by absorbent of Fe-
clinoptillolite. Generally the adsorption of chromium decrease in line with increasing
of chromium concentration.
