Abstract
The Role of Food and Community Socio-Cultural Arpnachment to Actualize the Food Sovereignty at Yogyakarta Special Region. Food sovereignty can be realized by providing a focus and priority on food policy, guarantee the right to food, and the right to determine the food system agree with the potential of local food. There are many factors that determine the direction of food sovereignty, among others: the factors of production, consumption, preferences, and social culture of the community approach. The successful achievement of food sovereignty should be able to make the creation of institutional connectivity oriented input-output balance of local food production in the community. The approach taken to give the public an opportunity to determine the food system with facility policies as a form of partisanship or community empowerment.
