INTISARI
Berdasarkan data kependudukan dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten
Bantul 2021 di Kalurahan Srimartani pada tahun 2011-2021 menunjukkan adanya
peningkatan penduduk. Kebutuhan ruang untuk tempat tinggal mengalami kenaikan
dan mengakibatkan penggunaan lahan terus mengalami perubahan yang berdampak
pada daya dukung lingkungan untuk permukiman di daerah penelitian. Permukiman
di Dusun Kemloko, Kalurahan Srimartani, Kapanewon Piyungan, Kabupaten Bantul,
Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta berada pada daerah perbukitan struktural dengan
kemiringan lereng agak miring hingga agak curam. Kondisi ini menyebabkan
terjadinya gerakan massa tanah yang mengakibatkan 2 bangunan rusak dan retak pada
13 Desember 2020. Saat penelitian dilakukan bulan April 2022, terdapat jalan ambles
yang menyebabkan aktivitas berkendara masyarakat terganggu. Tujuan penelitian
yaitu menganalisis kelas daya dukung lingkungan untuk permukiman, menganalisis
sebaran potensi gerakan massa tanah, dan merekomendasikan arahan pengelolaan
lahan untuk permukiman yang sesuai dengan kelas daya dukung lingkungan pada
daerah penelitian.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode kuantitatif
dan kualitatif. Metode kuantitatif berupa survei dan pemetaan secara langsung di
lapangan dengan parameter berupa kemiringan lereng, tekstur tanah, kedalaman
efektif tanah, drainase tanah, erosi, dan ancaman banjir didukung dengan wawancara
masyarakat secara purposive sampling untuk mendapatkan data pendukung pada
parameter ancaman banjir, tumpang susun (overlay) dan pengharkatan (scoring), serta
metode kualitatif berupa analisis deskriptif yang digunakan untuk menjabarkan dan
mendeskripsikan hasil pengharkatan. Arahan pengelolaan yang dilakukan berupa
pendekatan teknologi, pendekatan sosial dan institusi.
Hasil penelitian memiliki 2 (dua) kelas yaitu daya dukung agak jelek dengan
luasan sebesar 37 Ha atau mencakup 58,73% dan daya dukung jelek dengan luasan 26
Ha atau mencakup 41,27% dari luasan daerah penelitian. Hasil analisis sebaran potensi
gerakan massa tanah memiliki 2 (dua) kelas yaitu kategori sedang dengan luasan
sebesar 6,82 Ha atau sekitar 10,83% dan kategori tinggi dengan luasan 56,18 Ha atau
sekitar 89,17% dari luasan daerah penelitian. Kejadian gerakan massa tanah di Dusun
Kemloko, Kalurahan Srimartani tersebar di 4 (empat) titik. Arahan pengelolaan yang
diterapkan yaitu pembuatan bangunan stabilisasi berupa bronjong, dan pembuatan
saluran drainase untuk mengendalikan air limpasan serta relokasi permukiman yang
berada pada satuan lahan P_Ac_Ba_La berupa penggunaan lahan permukiman, berada
pada kemiringan agak curam dengan jenis batuan adalah breksi andesit dan tanah
latosol. Pendekatan sosial ekonomi dan institusi dilakukan sosialisasi dengan
masyarakat, perangkat daerah, dan lembaga pemerintahan.

Evaluation of Environmental Carrying Capacity for Settlements in Kemloko
Hamlet, Srimartani Village, Piyungan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of

ABSTRACT
Based on population data from Bantul Regency Central Statistics Agency
2021 in Srimartani Village year 2011-2021 shows an increase in population. The
needed space for housing has increased and resulted in changes in land use which
have an impact on the environmental carrying capacity of settlements in the research
area. The settlement in Kemloko Hamlet, Srimartani Village, Piyungan District,
Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta is in a structural hilly area with slightly
sloping to slightly steep slopes. This condition caused a mass movement of land which
resulted in 2 damaged and cracked buildings on December 13, 2020. When research
was conducted in April 2022, there was a road collapse which disrupted people's
driving activities. The research objectives are to analyze the environmental carrying
capacity class for settlements, analyze the potential distribution of soil mass
movements, and to recommend the direction of land management for settlements in
accordance with the environmental carrying capacity class in the research area.
The method used in this research is a quantitative and qualitative method.
Quantitative methods used are in the form of surveys and on field direct mapping with
parameters such as slope, soil texture, effective soil depth, soil drainage, erosion, and
flood threat supported by community interviews using purposive sampling to obtain
supporting data on flood threat parameters, overlay and scoring, as well as qualitative
methods in the form of descriptive analysis used to explain and describe the scoring
results. The management directives are technological approach, a social approach
and an institutional approach.
The results of the evaluation of environmental carrying capacity for
settlements have 2 (two) classes, namely the carrying capacity is rather bad with an
area of 37 Ha or covering 58.73% and poor carrying capacity with an area of 26 Ha
or covering 41.27% of the research area. The results of the analysis of the distribution
of potential soil mass movements have 2 (two) classes, namely the medium category
with an area of 6.82 Ha or about 10.83% and the high category with an area of 56.18
Ha or about 89.17% of the research area. The incident of ground mass movement in
Kemloko Hamlet, Srimartani Village was spread over 4 (four) points. The management
directives applied are the construction of stabilization buildings in the form of gabions,
and the construction of drainage channels to control runoff water and the relocation
of settlements located on the P_Ac_Ba_La land unit in the form of residential land use,
located on a rather steep slope with rock types are andesit breccia and latosol soil.
The socio-economic and institutional approach is carried out by socialization with the
community, regional apparatus, and government institutions.
