RINGKASAN 
Kegiatan penambangan yang diterapkan oleh PT. Mega Bara Semesta Jobsite 
PT. Sriwijaya Bara Priharum yaitu sistem tambang terbuka dengan metode open 
pit. Sistem penambangan dengan tambang terbuka dipengaruhi oleh beberapa 
faktor salah satunya cuaca, yaitu curah hujan. Sistem penyaliran tambang yang 
memadai diperlukan agar operasi penambangan dapat berjalan dengan baik. 
Terjadinya luapan air pada ceruk dan saluran terbuka, sehingga penelitian ini 
bertujuan untuk mengetahui debit air yang masuk ke area penambangan, dan 
mengkaji sistem penyaliran tambang yang diterapkan di lokasi penelitian. 
Analisi curah hujan menggunakan metode Gumbell dengan data curah hujan 
tahun 2012 – 2021, diperoleh curah hujan harian rencana 102,58 mm, dengan 
intensitas curah hujan sebesar 18,72 mm/jam, periode ulang hujan 3 tahun dan 
resiko hidrologi sebesar 86,8 %. Luas daerah tangkapan hujan pada lokasi 
penelitian dibagi menjadi lima bagian yaitu DTH I = 0,19 km2
, DTH II = 0,054 
km2
, DTH III = 0,43 km2
, DTH IV = 0,13 km2
, dan DTH V = 0,10 km2
. 
Hasil penelitian debit air limpasan pada setiap daerah tangkapan hujan sebesar
0,89 m³/s pada DTH I, DTH II 0,17 m³/detik, DTH III 0,18 m³/detik, DTH IV 0,41 
m³/detik, dan DTH V 0,32 m³/detik. Lokasi penelitian memiliki lima saluran 
terbuka, dua saluran terbuka perlu dilakukan perbaikan, yaitu saluran terbuka II dan 
saluran terbuka V. Volume sisa aktual ceruk belum mampu menampung air yang 
masuk, usulan perbaikan volume ceruk sebesar 63.000 m³. Air dari ceruk utama 
dialirkan menuju waterfill menggunakan pompa Jhon Deere, air dari waterfill 
dialirkan menuju kolam pengendapan menggunakan pompa Deutzaq Kolam 
pengendapan terdiri dari 3 kompartemen, kegiatan penggerukan endapan dilakukan 
rata – rata tiap 5 bulan sekali.

SUMMARY 
Mining activities implemented by PT. Mega Bara Semesta Jobsite PT. Sriwijaya 
Bara Priharum was a surface mining system with an open pit method. surface 
mining was affected by weather, especially rainfall. Mine dewatering system was 
needed to mining activities can run well. The purpose of this study was to determine 
water discharge entering the mining area, and the mine dewatering system was 
applied at the research site. 
Rainfall analysis using the Gumbell method with rainfall data for 2012 – 2021, 
obtained a daily rainfall plan of 102.58 mm, with a rainfall intensity of 
18.72 mm / hour, a rain re-period of 3 years and a hydrological risk of 86.8%. The 
catchment area at the research site was divided into five parts, namely DTH I = 
0.19 km2
, DTH II = 0.054 km2
, DTH III = 0.43 km2
, DTH IV = 0.13 km2
, and DTH 
V = 0.10 km2
.
The results of the study were runoff water discharge in each catchment area 
0.89 m³/s in DTH I, DTH II 0.17 m³/s, DTH III 0.18 m³/s, DTH IV 0.41 m³/s, and 
DTH V 0.32 m³/s. Five open channels at the research site that already had 
dimensions capable of draining the incoming surface runoff water discharge, but 
two open channels need to be repaired, namely open channel II and open channel 
V. The actual residual volume of the sump has not been able to hold the incoming
water, the proposed improvement of the sump volume was 63.000 m³. Water from 
the main sump flowed to the waterfill used by the Jhon Deere pump, and water from 
the waterfill flowed to the settling pond used by the Deutzaq pump. The settling 
pond consists of 3 compartments, sedimentation dredging activities carried out on 
average every 5 months.
