ABSTRAK
Lahan kritis merupakan lahan yang kehilangan fungsinya dalam lingkungan
dikarenakan kerusakan kimia, fisik dan biologi di dalam tanah. Kekritisan lahan
biasanya diakibatkan oleh adanya alih fungsi lahan yang tidak memperhatikan
syarat-syarat konservasi tanah dan air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk
menetapkan kekritisan lahan, mengetahui sebaran kekritisan lahan, dan
mengetahui faktor penyebab dalam pengelolaan lahan kritis. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Kemadang, Kapanewon Tanjungsari, Kabupaten
Gunung Kidul. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Selanjutnya
menyiapkan peta jenis tanah, peta kemiringan lereng, peta tutupan lahan, dan
peta sistem lahan. Dilakukan survei terhadap 16 titik sampel secara purposive
berdasarkan satuan sistem lahan. Penentuan lahan kritis dengan metode skoring
dan pembobotan berdasarkan Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Bina Pengelolaan
Daerah Aliran Sungai Dan Perhutanan Sosial Nomor: P. 4/V-Set/2013 Tentang
Petunjuk Teknis Penyusunan Data Spasial Lahan Kritis diantaranya yaitu:
produktivitas lahan pertanian (bobot 30), kemiringan lereng (bobot 20), tingkat
bahaya erosi (bobot 20) dan manajeman lahan pertanian (bobot 30). Keempat
data spasial tersebut ditumpang-susunkan (overlay) menjadi hasil peta
kekritisan lahan. Tingkat kekritisan lahan di Kelurahan Kemadang
dikelompokkan menjadi empat, yaitu: 1) potensial kritis seluas 471,34 ha
(24,33%), 2) agak kritis seluas 1079,96 ha (55,76%), 3) kritis seluas 231,42 ha
(11,95%), 4) sangat kritis seluas 154,24 ha (7,96%). Faktor penyebab kekritisan
lahan di Kelurahan Kemadang disebabkan: 1) Daerah penelitian memiliki
kemiringan lereng agak curam (15-25%) sampai curam (26-40%), 2) Besarnya
tanah yang tererosi mulai dari 94,51 ton/ha/th sampai 358,69 ton/ha/th, 3)
Adanya ditemukan beberapa kegiatan alih fungsi lahan dari lahan
pertanian/hutan menjadi pertambangan batu gamping.

WEIGHTING METHODS IN KEMADANG VILLAGE, KAPANEWON
TANJUNGSARI, GUNUNG KIDUL REGENCY

ABSTRACT
Critical land is land that has lost its function in the environment due to chemical,
physical and biological damage in the soil. Land criticality is usually caused by
land conversion that does not pay attention to soil and water conservation
requirements. The purpose of this research is to determine the criticality of the
land, to know the distribution of the criticality of the land, and to know the
constraint factors in the management of critical land. This research was
conducted in Kemadang Village, Kapanewon Tanjungsari, Gunung Kidul
Regency. The research was conducted by survey method. Next, prepare a soil
type map, slope map, land cover map, and land system map. A survey was
conducted on 16 sample points purposively based on land system units. The
determination of critical land using the scoring and weighting method is based
on the Regulation of the Director General of Watershed Management and Social
Forestry Number: P. 4/V-Set/2013 concerning Technical Guidelines for
Compiling Spatial Data on Critical Lands, including: agricultural land
productivity (weight 30), slope (weight 20), erosion hazard level (weight 20)
and agricultural land management (weight 30). The four spatial data are
overlaid into the result of a land criticality map. The criticality level of land in
Kemadang Village is grouped into four, namely: 1) critical potential area of
471.34 ha (24.33%), 2) slightly critical area of 1079.96 ha (55.76%), 3) critical
area of 231, 42 ha (11.95%), 4) very critical area of 154.24 ha (7.96%). Factors
causing criticality of land in Kemadang Village are caused by: 1) The research
area has a rather steep slope (15-25%) to steep (26-40%), 2) The amount of soil
eroded from 94.51 tons/ ha/year to 358.69 tons/ ha/year, 3) There are several
activities of land conversion from agricultural/forest land to limestone mining.
