maupun geofisika seperti halnya karakterisasi reservoir.
Reservoir sand
porous mempunyai karakteristik acoustic impedance berkisar dibawah 12.000-
16.120 (ft/s)*(g/cc) dan nilai density 1,7-2,2 g/cm3 tersebar dominan pada zona Top
Telisa dan T_TE1450. Sedangkan reservoir sand tight mempunyai karakteristik
acoustic impedance berkisar dibawah 16.120-25.000 (ft/s)*(g/cc) dan nilai density
1,7-3,1 g/cm3.
Berada
pada tinggian struktur patahan naik maka memungkinkan adanya hidrokarbon pada
area tersebut.

ABSTRACT
The Central Sumatra Basin is a back-arc basin with the largest producing
tertiary sedimentation in Indonesia. This is due to the geological history that forms
the structure and stratigraphy of the basin following the concept of good
hydrocarbon play. This is the reason why geological and geophysical studies and
evaluations are carried out in this basin as well as reservoir characterization. This
research will focus to characterization of the sandstone reservoir and its
distribution. This research uses the Deterministic Inversion Method to see the
distribution of the sandstone reservoir and to see its characterization, the
Stochastic Inversion is used to see the distribution of the sandstone reservoir in
more detail, especially for thin layers under while tunning thickness value, and the
physical properties of the rock preciselly. Seismic Attribute uses several attributes
in seismic data to obtain an image of the subsurface. The results of the Inversion
and Seismic Attribute processes can be integrated to determine the location of
potential prospects. The distribution of sandstone reservoirs in the research area
in each zone is dominated by sandstone reservoirs interspersed with shale. The sand
porous reservoir has acoustic impedance characteristics ranging from 12,000 to
16120 (ft/s)*(g/cc) and a density value is about 1.7 to 2.2 g/cm3 which is dominantly
distributed in the Top Telisa and T_TE1450 zones. Meanwhile, sand tight reservoirs
have acoustic impedance characteristics ranging from 16,120 to 25,000
(ft/s)*(g/cc) and a density value is about 1.7-3.1 g/cm3. The distribution of the sand
tight reservoir is dominant in the T_D1600 and T_D1800 zones. The well
development area is located in the north of the research located area with UTM
coordinates X 712500 m and Y 188000 m. The drilling plan is at a depth between
1250 to 1850 feet from the Top Telisa zone to the T_D1800 zone, located at the
height of the thrust fault, it is possible for the presence of hydrocarbons in the area.
