Abstract

POTENSI UNGGULAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN DI
KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL TAHUN 2016-2020
INTISARI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komoditas sektor pertanian
yang menjadi komoditas unggulan dan bagaimana pengembangan komoditas
unggulan sektor pertanian Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah
analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis
Location Quotient (LQ) dan analisis Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, dan
Threats (SWOT).
Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan alat analisis Location Quotient (LQ)
menunjukkan bahwa komoditas tanaman pangan yang menjadi komoditas unggulan
Kabupaten Gunungkidul tahun 2016-2020 yaitu padi ladang, jagung, kacang tanah,
dan ubi kayu serta sektor pertanian hortikultura yang menjadi komoditas unggulan
Kabupaten Gunungkidul tahun 2016-2020 yaitu komoditas sirsak, pisang, sawo,
mangga, sukun, melinjo, nangka/cempedak, belimbing, dan jambu biji. Sementara
hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan komoditas unggulan
sektor pertanian Kabupaten Gunungkidul tahun 2016-2020 yaitu dengan
menerapkan strategi SO.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the agricultural sektor commodities which are
the leading commodities and how to develop the leading commodities in the
agricultural sector in Gunungkidul Regency. The analysis carried out is a
quantitative descriptive analysis. The analytical tools in this research are Location
Quotient (LQ) analysis and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats
(SWOT) analysis.
The results of the analysis using the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tool
show that the food crop commodities which are the main commodities of
Gunungkidul Regency in 2016-2020 are upland rice, corn, peanuts, and cassava as
well as the horticultural agricultural sector which is the leading commodity of
Gunungkidul Regency in 2016. -2020, namely soursop, banana, sapodilla, mango,
breadfruit, melinjo, jackfruit/cempedak, star fruit and guava commodities.
Meanwhile, the results of the SWOT analysis show that the development of superior
commodities in the agricultural sector of Gunungkidul Regency in 2016-2020 is by
implementing the SO strategy
