ABSTRAK
KM Aluminium merupakan salah satu UKM yang berada di sentra industri
aluminium Sorosutan, memiliki 8 pekerja dan menggunakan strategi make to order untuk
memproduksi berbagai macam produk aluminium berdasarkan permintaan dari konsumen.
Beberapa produknya adalah peralatan dapur, kerajinan seni, spare part kendaraan, dan
sebagainya. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, proses produksi di KM Aluminium
masih dilakukan secara sederhana dan kurang memperhatikan kenyamanan. berdasarkan
hasil pengamatan dan Nordic Body Map Questonnaires, maka diketahui keluhan terbesar
yang dirasakan oleh pekerja yaitu, sakit pada punggung 88%, sakit pada pinggang 88%,
sakit pada bahu kanan 75%
Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui skor penilaian postur pekerja
menggunakan Rapid Upper Limb Assesment (RULA), dan metode yang digunakan dalam
menghitung gaya tekan L5/S1 untuk menganalisis postur kerja para pekerja adalah
pendekatan model biomekanika yang dimodelkan oleh Chaffin. Sedangkan untuk
perancangan sarana/fasilitas alat bantu kerja dibuat berdasarkan pendekatan anthropometri
yaitu pernyataan spesifikasi produk dan konsep rancangan dalam bentuk gambar 3 dimensi.
Hal ini dimaksudkan agar hasil rancangan nantinya benar-benar sesuai dengan kondisi
kebutuhan pekerja.
Hasil dari penelitan ini diperoleh rancangan stasiun kerja pada stasiun kerja dengan
gaya kompresi paling tinggi yaitu pada stasiun kerja finishing sebesar 3498 Newton.
Melalui perancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja penjepit yang disesuaikan dengan data
antropometri terhadap pekerja, diperoleh gaya tekan sebesar 2064 Newton. Perubahan gaya
tersebut menunjukan bahwa usulan perancangan fasilitas kerja dapat memperbaiaki postur
kerja pengrajin yang ditunjukan dengan berkurangnya gaya tekan L5/S1 sebesar 1434
Newton.

ABSTRACT
KM Aluminum is one of the small industry located in the aluminum industry center
Sorosutan, it has 8 workers and used a make to order strategy to produce various kinds of
aluminum products based on requests from consumers. Some of its products are kitchen
equipments, arts crafts, vehicle spare parts, and so on. Based on the observations made,
the production process at KM Aluminum is still carried out in a simple manner and does
not pay attention to comfort. Based on observations and the Nordic Body Map
Questonnaires, it is known that the biggest complaints felt by workers are back pain 88%,
waist pain 88%, right shoulder pain 75%
The method used to determine the workers' posture assessment score is using the
Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), and the method used to calculate the L5/S1
compressive force to analyze the work posture of the workers is a biomechanical model
approach modeled by Chaffin. Meanwhile, for the design of work facilities, it is based on
an anthropometric approach, namely a statement of product specifications and design
concepts in the form of 3-dimensional images. This is so that the results of the design will
be truly in accordance with the conditions of the workers' needs.
The result of this research is that the design of the work station at the work station
with the highest compression force is at the finishing work station of 3498 Newton. Through
the design of work facilities in the form of a clamping table that is adjusted to
anthropometric data for workers, a compressive force of 2064 Newton is obtained. The
change in force shows that the proposed work facility design can improve the work posture
of the craftsman as indicated by the reduction in the L5/S1 compressive force of 1434
Newton.
