DAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

ABSTRAK
Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura
penting di Indonesia. Permintaan dan kebutuhan bawang merah mengalami
peningkatan setiap tahunnya sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan
bawang merah dalam meningkatkan hasil panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menentukan interaksi dari pemberian NPK dan Plant Gowth Promoting Rhizobacteria
(PGPR) pada pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun
Percobaan Wedomartani Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Pembangunan Nasional
“Veteran” Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan November - Januari 2022.
Rancangan penelitian yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial yang diulang
sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara, terdiri dari 4 taraf
yaitu 3,75 g/tanaman, 7,5 g/tanaman, 11,25 g/tanaman dan 15 g/tanaman. Faktor kedua
adalah konsentrasi PGPR yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 10 ml/tanaman, 15 ml/tanaman,
20 ml/tanaman dan 25 ml/tanaman. Data dianalisis keragamannya menggunakan
analisis varian (ANOVA) taraf 5% dan untuk uji beda antar perlakuan menggunakan
uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrasi PGPR pada
parameter jumlah umbi keseluruhan rumpun tanaman dan bobot segar umbi per
rumpun tanaman. Perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK terbaik didapatkan pada 15 g/tanaman
pada parameter tinggi tanaman 28 dan 42 HST, jumlah daun 28 HST dan jumlah umbi
per rumpun tanaman. Perlakuan PGPR dengan konsentrasi terbaik didapatkan pada 25
ml/tanaman pada parameter tinggi tanaman 42 HST, jumlah daun 28 HST dan diameter
umbi per rumpun tanaman.

OF PLANT GOWTH PROMOTING RHIZOBACTERIA (PGPR) ON GROWTH

ABSTRACT
Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) is one of the important horticultural commodities in
Indonesia. The demand and need for shallots is increasing every year so that efforts are
needed to meet the needs of shallots in increasing crop yields. This study aimed to
determine the interaction of NPK and Plant Gowth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR)
on the growth and yield of shallots. This research was conducted at the Wedomartani
Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran”
Yogyakarta University. The study was conducted in November-January 2022. The
research design was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which was
repeated 3 times. The first factor was the dose of NPK Mutiara, consisting of 4 levels,
namely 3.75 g/plant, 7.5 g/plant, 11.25 g/plant and 15 g/plant. The second factor is the
concentration of PGPR which consists of 4 levels, namely 10 ml/plant, 15 ml/plant, 20
ml/plant and 25 ml/plant. The data were analyzed with analysis of variance (ANOVA)
at 5% level and for the difference between treatments using the Duncan Multiple Range
Test (DMRT). The results showed that there was an interaction between the treatment
dose of NPK fertilizer and the concentration of PGPR on the parameters of the number
of tubers in the whole plant clump and the fresh weight of tubers per plant clump. The
best treatment dose of NPK fertilizer was obtained at 15 g/plant at plant height
parameters 28 and 42 DAP, number of leaves 28 DAP and number of tubers per plant
clump. PGPR treatment with the best concentration was obtained at 25 ml/polybag at
plant height parameters 42 DAP, number of leaves 28 DAP and tuber diameter per
plant clump.
